Elise was a marvelous addition to our program. She was very accommodating with her playing schedule and allowed us to have two periods of music. She arrived in full Highland dress which added authenticity to her performance and was particularly appreciated by members of the audience who were of Scottish descent. Besides being an outstanding piper Elise is also a warm and friendly person. Perfect for our event.

Elise was awesome! Elise bagpiped for my mother’s memorial service. She played Amazing Grace at the finale and closed it out in style. Unfortunately, I didn’t even meet her. Yes, I was looking forward to meeting you, but clearly you had a big job, hosting so many friends - obviously your mom has been greatly appreciated and loved by your community! I did enjoy hearing the talk about how she went back to school during the recession and built up her career from scratch. She sounds like quite an impressive woman.

Elise played at a Celebration of Life for my brother on San Francisco Bay. She was very familiar with the challenges of playing on a moving sailboat and handled it smoothly. I also requested a song that was unfamiliar to her and she gladly located an arrangement of it and played it for us. Elise was very accommodating of all of our requests and it was a pleasure to have her with us.

For future, if you've got members wishing for any particular tunes, I'll be happy to learn up to two new tunes per gig, if you give me at least a month of advance notice. In fact, taking requests can be great fun, because sometimes people come up with really unusual requests (like Led Zeppelin Into the Light, and Procul Harem Whiter Shade of Pale). Also, I appreciate learning from my clients which of the many hundreds of old traditional pipe tunes people most want to hear.
