Funeral•Reviewed on September 16, 2019•From Walnut Creek, CA
:
Many thanks, Don. It was an honor to pipe for a Clan MacGregor gathering. You, likewise, did an excellent job of rolling with the unexpected reunion guests and traffic delays. And your catering food was excellent, including the grilled Brussels sprouts. I think everyone valued this fine celebration. Best Wishes, piper EliseReview by Mimi B.
Funeral•Reviewed on June 9, 2019•From Belmont, CA
:
Thank you very much, Mimi. Yes, I was looking forward to meeting you, but clearly you had a big job, hosting so many friends - obviously your mom has been greatly appreciated and loved by your community! I did enjoy hearing the talk about how she went back to school during the recession and built up her career from scratch. She sounds like quite an impressive woman. Tomorrow I will be bagpiping for the parent of one of your guests, so I'll be back up in your neck of the woods again... Best Wishes, piper EliseReview by Tish A.
Memorial Service•Reviewed on June 9, 2019•From San Jose, CA
:
Thank you very much, Tish. It was a lovely gathering. Well organized by you, and you even succeeded in getting your introducing gentleman onto that mic for a moment, in spite of his shyness. I still want to come back another time with my 12-year old and show her the full-sized Hot Wheels! Best Wishes, piper EliseReview by Pete B.

Thank you very much, Rex. Likewise, I'd absolutely play for your party again! I'm still fondly remembering your speaker's terrific explanation of Address to a Haggis, knife brandishing and all. Thanks for a great evening. piper EliseReview by Heidi H.
Wedding Ceremony•Reviewed on December 17, 2018•From Pebble Beach, CA
:
Thank you, Heidi. It was lovely on the golf course. You did a great job getting everyone there in an orderly fashion. And I enjoyed admiring all the ladies' beautiful dresses. Have a great holiday. Best Wishes, piper EliseReview by jeremy q.
Wedding Ceremony•Reviewed on December 15, 2018•From Sausalito, CA
:
Thank you very much, Jeremy, for your kind words. I was thinking during the ceremony that you two really look made for each other, and I predict you are going to be very happy together. Also, your kids look stoked, and they did a great job staying out in that cold wind without complaining in the least. And your mom is a total sweetheart. It was adorable, before your vows, how she just had to stick in that little comment about being your mom :) I would love to play for you again, and will look forward to it... Best Wishes, piper EliseReview by Linda S.
Funeral•Reviewed on November 6, 2018•From Pacifica, CA

Many thanks, Linda! You were lovely to work for, and you did a great job of juggling all the different guests and entertainers, so that everything came off smoothly. I would hire your sister as a singer any time :) Best Wishes, piper EliseReview by Grace R.

Thank you Siobhan. We enjoyed meeting all your family and friends, and fiddler JJ was a treat. Hopefully I'll run into you on west cliff one of these days. And I'll be in touch about Red-O some time after I get back from vacation. Best Wishes, piper EliseReview by Sandra G.
Memorial Service•Reviewed on May 18, 2018•From San Francisco, CA
:
Thank you very much, Sandra. I greatly enjoyed meeting you, and all of your nice friends and family. I felt touched when everyone got emotional during our second round of Amazing Grace - I guess your husband was right - they did need it played twice! And the dim sum, which I ate on the way home, yum!...especially those sesame covered gooey rice balls. Plus, now when I play Clue, I can honestly claim to have visited a Conservatory :) Best Wishes, piper EliseReview by Darlene H.

Celebration•Reviewed on November 17, 2017•From San Francisco, CA
:
Thank very much, Paul. Likewise, I was very impressed with the attention span and great audience-manners of your kids! They may be financially underprivileged, but somebody (either your school or the parents - probably both) has done a great job teaching them how to sit still and listen attentively (even to the slow funeral tune I played :)Review by Mark N.

Thank you for your kind words, Don. I am still telling stories from our adventure on the water. Your family was charming, especially your mom - wow, I came right home and told my mom about the 92-year old woman who could stay chipper during a hot four-hour boat ride. And now I feel fully confident that I can play bagpipes wearing a lifejacket! Best Wishes to You and Your Family, piper EliseReview by Jacqui S.

Thank you very much Susan! Perhaps during our next drive through Flagstaff I'll need to practice my bagpipes, and you'll hear Skye Boat Song drifting toward you on the breeze. And we'll bring a supply of carrots for the donkeys. Best Wishes, piper EliseReview by Mary W.
Saint Patrick's Day Party•Reviewed on March 30, 2017•From Pleasanton, CA

Thank you very much, Mary! I am still feeling amazed at your ability to overcome challenges that would intimidate other people, and be the full-on host of your great party. New Mexico will be lucky to have you... Best Wishes, EliseReview by Alecia E.
Club Event•Reviewed on March 19, 2017•From Stockton, CA
:
Thank you, Alecia, for inviting me to play at your lovely resort. I greatly enjoyed the fruit while driving from Stockton to Walnut Creek. For future, if you've got members wishing for any particular tunes, I'll be happy to learn up to two new tunes per gig, if you give me at least a month of advance notice. In fact, taking requests can be great fun, because sometimes people come up with really unusual requests (like Led Zeppelin Into the Light, and Procul Harem Whiter Shade of Pale). Also, I appreciate learning from my clients which of the many hundreds of old traditional pipe tunes people most want to hear. Best Wishes, piper Elise
