I can perform for any event of any kind, conveying any emotion. Slow, threnodial aires. Marches, retreats. Upbeat dance music: jigs, strathspeys, reels, and hornpipes. Christmas music. Even some pop music. I have a repertoire of approximately 60 different traditional tunes all memorized. I can dress in traditional formal Scottish attire, or in authentic Medieval/Elven/Ranger style garb for a more ancient or fantasy feel. I have many years of experience, having been playing professionally since 2008, and have also won many awards as a competitive solo bagpiper. I can play both the Scottish Great Highland Bagpipe and the Irish Uilleann Bagpipe, as well as the ocarina and various Celtic flutes/whistles. Drummer for percussive accompaniment possibly available upon request. Notable works include recording my bagpipes for the original How to Train Your Dragon movie soundtrack, as well as working with vocalists from the internationally acclaimed group Celtic Woman, recording my bagpipes for the Evermore soundtrack.
