Gary performed at my grandmothers funeral and he did do the songs that I requested. The only downfall was right after I placed my rose on the casket,I walked over to give him his finalcheck and he stopped playing and left. At first I thought it was me, but then I overheard family talking about how the bagpiper left quickly and everyone didn't even leave or halfway to their cars. For the price, the short 20 mins at the cemetery should be played until people go to their car.

I certainly apologize if there was a misunderstanding. Going back to my bid for your job it says: "I will play as you folks are arriving in the cemetery until the casket is in place at the grave. After the religious and military ceremony (if any) I will play Amazing Grace and a postlude for as long as it takes everyone to pay their final respects." That usually is when the last flower is placed and the last person walks away from the casket. People are known to malinger after a funeral from 5 to 30 min. I charge the same rate anywhere in the Philadelphia area. I drove 50 miles each way to be there for a 12:15 pm service and your group didn't show up until 1pm.

Gary was on time and the music was wonderful. It was obvious that Gary had a lot of experience playing at funerals. He knew right where to be at all times during the ceremony, when to play and when not to play. He found his way to the cemetary plot without any of my intervention. He played all the songs I requested and he played them all well. Thanks Gary. I would recommend Gary'said services whole heartily.

Gary was outstanding at my mother-in-law's funeral. He was on time and played a variety of Irish songs that made all of us happy. My whole family loved the bagpiper from Bucks County. We will definitely Hire Gary again in the future.

Gar came to the Nassau Inn to play the pipes for a Scottish Wedding and was a high point of the ceremony. He is personally charming and very talented - we would recommend him absolutely!

I booked Gary to play at my family cremains interment service. We had a very informative and satisfactory phone discussion about the service beforehand. He arrived promptly and played while my guests arrived, even though it was a brisk and windy Autumn day. We were all impressed with his playing and respectful demeanor. I would strongly recommend him to anyone seeking a piper.

Could not have had a better person for our nana's funeral. Gary was there before us and playing as the funeral procession arrived. He stopped at the right times and started back up after the ceremony, playing the requested song and more while we laid flowers on the casket. After everything finished he ended his song and quietly departed. He understood the needs of the event and it was a very nice sentiment to have him play.

I could not have been happier regarding Garys' performance at my most special event! I got married and got the idea to book a bagpiper shortly before our wedding. Gary was very accommodating with such short notice, was extremely professional in every way. I was late arriving at the church and thought I would have missing seeing him, but he stayed until I arrived. I was so happy to see him playing when our limo pulled up. He was a excellent performer and made a beautiful appearance. I received very positive feedback from my guests who loved listening to him when they arrived.
