Funerals can be a real hard time. Most of the time they are. It is the little things that help us through times like this and this is where Mark comes in. I would not call it small or little what he did for our family, because his playing the bagpipes helped so much. Mark was magnificent. We will recommend him to anyone needing a piper!!!!!!

I hired Mark Little at the last moment for my brother-in-laws memorial. Mark was very accommodating and drove all the way from Fresno to Pacifica on a Saturday. Mark was meant to do this!!!!!!! His attitude and expertise in playing the pipes really helped in bringing comfort to family and friends. He was a blessing and will be highly recommended. When I was looking at getting a bagpiper for my Son's graduation party, I was drawn to Mark by his Bio. His straight forward approach and wonderful feedbacks from customers might have been enough to make me pick Mark anyway, but the clincher was comparing Mark's playing with other pipers in our area. Mark asked in his bio for clients to compare before making a decision and that is exactly what I did. I have heard my share of good and bad pipers and Mark is way up there in the good category. Mark was early and gave us more than we asked for. He played as people arrived, played the casket to the grave site and then played as people left. You could really tell that Mark cared. Mark showed up early, prepared and ready to go for our military Dining Out, despite driving four hours to get here. He was very accomodating with the demands of US Navy tradition, including Parading the Beef and entrance march. He was very familiar with the process and put me at ease, and I have already recommended him to another squadron for their Dining Out. I would strongly recommend him for anyone who needs a bagpiper at a formal event.

Mark is an excellent piper. He arrived early for this big funeral and was very professional. I noticed immediately his attention to detail and thoughtfulness about the service. We requested a lament to be played as the family and friends processed in and his suggestions were good and timely - beautifully done. Amazing Grace as everyone processed out and he went the extra mile and gave us more music to make the service even more memorable. As a former drum major of a pipe and drum corp, I believe I have the credentials to give him the highest marks in musicianship and he could have passed an inspection in the Black Watch. He will be our first choice in the future.
