Jared communicated well before the event to get specifics on timing, location, pieces, and if people would be singing. He also researched a particular version of a song I wanted. We met 30" before the event to rehearse. For the opening song he did a slow march up the aisle, then back down timed with the song ending. This was a pleasant surprise, because I assumed he would stand in the back of the room. For the closing song, we got out of sync a couple of times, so that I had to skip some words to catch up. In the ending piece, he kept skipping notes and seemed to forget where he was in the piece. He looked great and was quite professional. His price was reasonable.

As a musician and a person Jared is off the charts. Jared had piped and played the harp for our family twice before. My Mother had specifically requested that we have Jared play at her Funeral Mass. Jared was more then accommodating and flexible with some last minute changes. Jared helped to make it a memorable service.

Jared played bagpipe, ukulele and Celtic harp, —before, during (processioanal and recessional) and after (cocktail hour) our daughter’s wedding at Rocklands Farm, Potomac, MD. Jared provided the final hymn of Amazing Grace for a large Memorial Service. The plans for how the music was to be presented changed at the last minute, and he adapted not only his playing but his presentation at the event.
