Jim was terrific, really made the kickoff for our annual gathering of our MacNeil (Barra) Family Reunion memorable.
He was very accommodating and easy to work with on scheduling his time - particularly in light of Hurricane Matthew's impending arrival that afternoon.
He was also very personable, talking about how he got started with the bagpipes, posed for pictures with all and even letting my Grand Daughter Ella pose with his pipes. The Kids were amazed and delighted as were the Adults.
Would absolutely recommend Jim to any event interested in this service in the future.

10/10 for Jim. Super easy to communicate with, charged a fair price for his services, and was there at the prebriefed time. He was very flexible with our request, as we were running a bit behind schedule. Once his time came he played the pipes like a true champion, which really brought everything together. Book him for your next party...Jim will not disappoint!

Jim contacted me and made sure he was available when we needed him. He asked me about what I wanted him to play, and his performance was extremely professional. He was also willing to coordinate with the pastor about the service at the cemetery. He was excellent, and we were lucky to have him for the funeral.

His performance was the highlight of my CG retirement. Scotland the Brave leading our group approx 5 blocks each way (felt like a legit parade). With a stunning performance of Amazing Grace, Semper Paratus, and other patriotic tunes during the return to the sea event. The best Wow Factor any party could have!

I was thoroughly pleased with his performance. It has to be pretty depressing to play a funeral, however, he did it with the utmost professionalism. I was so busy grieving I didn't realize he was still playing outside in the cold. Of course we had an indoor area for him, but he never complained. Thank you Jim for helping give my best friend a proper send off.

Jim was a pleasure to work with, promptly communicating with me, and willing to help in any way. he arrived early,looking wonderfulin full regalia, and was patient with us while party activities were winding down. The bonfire would not light, even with kerosene, due to the previous week of rain, so those plans had to be scrapped. When Jim finally began to play, it was wonderful! Everyone enjoyed it immensely. I highly recommend Jim!

Jim Roberts was a wonderful entertainer. He was thoughtful and considerate of the audience as well as talented, well spoken and friendly. Mr. Roberts played whatever music was asked of him and more and he interacted well with the senior citizens. I would heartily recommend him to anyone that needs a bagpiper!
