John was responsive in his communications before the funeral, timely in his arrival at a remote cemetery location, sensitive to the tenor of the occasion, and played thoughtful and appropriate selections during the funeral. John promptly contacted me when he got my email. He was very cooperative and helpful in assisting me to put together what I wanted him to do at my Mom's internment service. He worked with me and the minister to put together a program to celebrate my Mom's Scottish heritage that was especially important to her and to me. John is a skilled piper and he will be an asset to any celebration you choose.

John was not only central casting bagpiper but brave, leading the wedding party for a 15 minute march from the church to the reception in temperatures about 32 degrees. Fingers and leg get very cold in that temperature. He was a skilled bagpiper and accommodated our needs. We would recommend very highly for any event.

John was the perfect addition to our small family memorial service. He communicated with us prior to the engagement at the appropriate times, was early to the engagement, and played beautifully! As my brother said, he looks the part too - a bagpiper right out of central casting.

I must admit I was a bit unsure of how to proceed with music selections, etc. for the wedding ceremony, and John had great suggestions, which I applied, and am glad I did! The songs he chose were perfect. On the day of the wedding, he played so beautifully, and we received many compliments. He was extremely professional, and played in traditional Scottish attire. It was such an honor to have him play for our wedding ceremony.

John was more than accommodation. There were a few issues at the wedding and we ended up running about a half hour late. John made it very easy and continued to play and keep the guest entertained. We really appreciated his calm demeanor and professionalism. His talent on the bag pipes and his traditional outfit made the perfect impression on the guest and started the entire evening off on the right foot. We hired John for my brother's funeral at the last minute. He responded promptly. He showed up at the cemetery early and even though the schedule hadn't been totally worked out, he quietly worked with everyone involved to make it go smoothly. I can't say enough about his professionalism. On top of that his terrific personality made it a pleasure to work with him.
