Nate was very sympathetic and polite when handling my reservations and his response to my text messages was very prompt. Nate was scheduled to arrive at the funeral home by 9am, but he didn’t arrive till 9:15- 9:30 . I was disappointed with his tardiness. There was a miscommunication with the instructions that I wanted him to perform. The cemetery is next door to the funeral home and I wanted him to lead the hearse to the cemetery, but unfortunately he doesn’t walk in the street. Overall the ceremony was beautiful. My family loved the Scottish culture of music in memory of my loved one. His skills are amazing! Overall the funeral was beautiful for my loved one!

Thank you for articulating where things didn't go according to your expectations—I will strive to seek and provide more clarity in the future. I always aim for an arrival time of 45 minutes early. This is to have extra buffer in the event of unpredictable traffic—I should have clarified this. In this case, I arrived only 30 minutes early, due to heavy traffic. As to walking down to the burial location, the term of “next door” was misleading. In actuality, the proposed walk would have entailed my marching down an active roadway for about 1/4 of a mile. Frankly, this potentially felt dangerous, and this was my sole area of concern. Again, I apologize for the misinterpretation of details that had occurred—clarity is key, and I will endeavor learn from this occurrence. Best wishes to you and your family.

I feel so lucky to have been able to book Nate Silva to play at my daughter's wedding. He surprised her and her new husband as they left the Church after their wedding ceremony. The performance was a surprise and they both had tears of joy. It was a special moment that none of us will ever forget. It was a very cold day in Gloucester and Nate still managed to play beautifully. He even came back inside to play in the Church while we took pictures. I highly recommend Nate Silva if you want a talented musician to make your event unforgettable.

We hired Nate to "pipe in" all the guests for the rehearsal dinner held the evening prior to our son's wedding. All of the out of town guests were invited, asked to celebrate "The Gathering of the Clans" as the two families joined together. I could not recommend Nate more highly! He communicated via text until the week prior to our event, then we had a detailed call to ensure we were aligned on our vision of the event. Nate delivered everything and more. He was GREAT with little kids and adults alike. I have already recommended him to the venue and to my family members. I'd love to have Nate come to another family gathering! Nate was above and beyond his professional courtesy and performance for the Memorial Day program we had.
He set the tone from the beginning- the audience did not know this was a part of the program so it was a surprise in a way and everyone was deeply touched, with many having tears in their eyes and a hand to their heart for his playing was truly beautiful.
