We had Bill Spivey play for us at our our friends Irish Wake. There are not enough words to say how wonderful he was. He not only showed up in his dress finery he played beyond our expectations. He also showed up with the master of the bag pipe playing Adrian Melvin!! Enjoyed them both emensely what a treat and what a privilege!! Thank you both

Bill did a wonderful job playing at our son's wedding (he even took the time to learn the theme song from "Star Wars"). It's a family tradition to have a bagpiper at weddings and funerals, I will definitely hire him again in the future. I highly recommend him.

Spivey Bagpiping was a HUGE hit at our wedding, easy to work with, VERY accommodating and friendly, had multiple guests comment on how amazing the music was and how it was a one of a kind experience with the addition of Spivey Bagpiping. Would hire again in a heart beat!

Mr.Spivey played for my father's memorial service. The music really was able to comfort my troubled soul on level that is difficult for words alone. Many things impressed me about the experience. I need was he really wanted to know my father's story so he could personally honor him, a very touching gesture. Also this guy is the real deal! When I first talked with him that day I thought he must be from Scotland. He had even the accent. No, he told me he was not but when he plays the accent comes along with it. We loved the added touch of the bagpipes and Spidey did a fantastic and authentic job.

Everyone enjoyed the bagpipes when he played. I assumed he would play as guests began to arrive for this grave marking of our 1812 patriot and not wait.
We would have liked it more if he had played in the background as discussed longer
He was personable and clothing presentable in period clothing
We had discussed he would arrive early where we would be on sync

Mr. Spivey was GREAT !
My mother specifically requested Bag Pipes at her funeral, and I was thrilled to find Mr. Spivey on such a short notice.
He was a talented professional and mom would be proud. We had to make some accommodations due to the priest, and Bill had not problems doing so - I greatly appreciated. With all the stress of the day it was nice Bill was so friendly and accommodating.
I heard many great comments from the congregation - it was a touching and emotional tribute to mother hearing him play.
Thanks Bill for helping our family fulfill mom's final wish !!

We had Bill come and play at our wedding reception at the Goldmoor Inn in Galena. It was a perfect day and he did a great job. He walked around and played a variety of songs. He played Danny Boy for my husband :-) he even stay around after for a couple of cocktails talking with the guests....
