Our family hired Tom to play at our father’s funeral. From receiving a bid to communicating about the logistics of the service and our preferences to playing on the actual day, Tom was incredibly professional and could not have been easier to work with. Having him play at the service was so meaningful. I cannot recommend Tom enough.

Tom played at our mountaintop wedding, and having him there made an absolutely amazing day even more special! Tom was extremely responsive from our very first contact. He really seemed enthusiastic about the setting and the mood for my wedding. He was on time (early actually), professional, looked fantastic in his kilt & most of all, played with such heart!! It was truly thrilling to hear him play Amazing Grace in the beautiful mountain setting in which my wedding took place. Additionally, Tom was very easy going and flexible. I can’t express how happy we were that he played at our wedding. I recommend his services very highly!!

Prior to our daughter’s wedding Tom was very kind and accomadating. We agreed on the time he was to start playing which was to be 6pm sharp when most of our guests would be arriving. At 6pm Tom was not there.. arrived 10 min late then had to use the restroom ! Didn’t start playing until after the majority of our guests had already arrived! He was to set the stage for the theme of the Celtic wedding and that didn’t happen ..we were very dissapointed!!

Kathleen, I'm very sorry you were disappointed with my services. The storms that day had traffic snarled badly and caused me to be late. I didn't have your cell number to update you on my problems. I did play outside the venue for 45 minutes as people continued to arrive, even through some heavy showers. The procession into the dinner seemed to go off without a hitch. Regardless, I am very unaccustomed to disappointing a client and I offer my sincere apologies.

My overall experience with Tom has been incredible. He is very professional and tailored to my very specific requests of playing on a boat off the lakeshore of our wedding venue. Through potential rain and thunderstorms, Tom stuck it out for us and it truly made my day! Tom has incredible talent and looked very professional. I’d gladly use and refer Tom for any occasion! Mr. Stewart, I'm sorry you received the feedback form too many times, apparently it did not record your initial response. This comes from the Gigmasters Website and not me. More importantly, I am sorry that you were less than thrilled with my performance. I arrived early, and we discussed changes in plans due to the weather. I played as your guests arrived and as prelude music in the location that your Wedding planner prescribed, despite the rain. And I tried to check in with you at the end of my performance without intruding on the start of the ceremony. I would appreciate any feedback regarding my performance as my goal is to achieve all 5's on my reviews. -

Our 91 year old mom had requested a bagpipe player at her memorial service and I selected Tom. The arrangements with Tom went very smoothly, he knew just how to handle everything. The performance was wonderful--the walk over the hill with Amazing Grace fading in the distance was truly beautiful. Everyone in attendance thought the ceremony was beautiful and the bagpipe performance was an integral part. I can't recommend Tom highly enough. I would have to say that most would have an infrequent need for a bagpipe player, but if I did need one, Tom is definitely the person I would call. Very satisfied!!!
