When I went to their website, I chose a specific quartet, however a day or so in advance of my event I discovered that I would be getting a completely different one. I was not pleased as had I known that in advance, I could have chosen a different one. It is not that the guys weren't acceptable, I just don't think one should be advertised and then another one substituted.

We would have liked to communicate with the Quartet personally, to request some information about the songs they sang. The second issue was the volume. I could be heard as Emcee but the group could not be heard by young and old alike in the back row. We would have liked them to have microphones; they may have been too far from the mic. Other than that, they were very good.

My daughter said they couldn't stay on key and that there seemed to be a lot of tension among the group. But she loved it. So from my point of view it was money well spent. Thanks.

Unfortunately the performance was very disappointing. The performers had good voices but were disorganized. They were reading from notes, had to restart several songs because they got off key and were unsure of the song. The final 3 songs they announced as "songs they were working on but had not practiced much". They were dressed in suits but no ties. Again very disappointing, not worth the money we paid.

Terrible experience. There is not enough space on this reply form to hold my comments. Bottom Line -- I would not use Gig Masters for anything that means a lot to one personally unless you want to have a most embarrassing moment.

Booking is very convenient. Knowledgeable and confident agent on the telephone. The group, Old Rules, are wonderful musically and very accommodating to our needs and last minute changes. Gina was super in pursuing a group for my event, with very short notice. The group, "Make Mine a Double", was terrific - they were punctual, professional, and really played the crowd. I plan to book them again.
