Back Woods Road Bluegrass Band from Minot, ME

Back Woods Road has been playing Bluegrass, Newgrass and Americana Music for over 7 years. We have competed and won the Pemi Bluegrass festival contest in 2018, finished second at the Thomas Point Bluegrass Festival in 2018, played at the Blistered Fingers festival in Litchfield Me for the last 3 years as well as the Sandy River Bluegrass festival in Starks Me. The band has a unique group of members that will entertain all ages. Jane Bernier's and Shawna Bell's singing and harmonies are as unique as any band in New England; Mike Conant and Richard Bernier add their own voice on the male side, from Steeldrivers to Rhonda Vincent, as well as some of our own originals; the band is geared to please. Musically Hunter Webber's driving banjo will impress, Mike Conant's fiddle is sweet and beautiful as well as hard driving; Jason Wescott's flat picking will amaze you and Richard Bernier's dobro, is fast and furious. Shawna Bell's bass playing is amazing and Jane Bernier's sweet rhythm on guitar and mandolin produce a beautiful sound pleasing to all ears. We love to interact with our audience and often ask the audience to sing along. Back Woods Road is a hard driving modern day Bluegrass band that will never disappoint.
