Bluetrain Bluegrass Band Reviews

This band was perfect for our event! This was our first Kentucky Derby Gala and they really set the tone for the whole event. We appreciated their communications with us before the event and how professional they were during the event. We are already looking to bring them back again soon!

Currently-existing words are inadequate to describe how happy my wife and I were with Bluetrain Bluegrass Band. We had a 110-person wedding on a Virginia farm. BBG played 90 minutes acoustic outside during the cocktail hour and then 90 minutes plugged in upstairs in the barn during and after dinner. I'm a huge bluegrass fan and checked out every band in GigMasters before hiring these guys. They know tons of traditional stuff but can also play Take Me Home, Country Roads-type fare. They were a huge hit with us and our guests. Big bonus: for a reasonable price, George let me and my laptop take over their sound system for a 2.5-hour dance party that went till 11pm.

Bluetrain Bluegrass Band is awesome! Booked them for a corporate event in DC last week. They arrived on time and quickly adjusted to the last minute change in set-up. From initial contact through email, to the end of the event, the Band was courteous, professional and always willing to accommodate any requests I made. The crowd loved them and I'd highly recommend them. I promise -- You won't be disappointed!

From the bottom of my heart I want to thank these guys, and recommend them for ANYONE and for ANY occasion. They were accommodating to our schedule, they were interactive with our guests and my grandfather (the guest of honor) and played UNBELIEVABLY. I requested a bit of an Irish theme, and boy did they nail it. The only regret I have, is I wish I could’ve booked them for the entirety of the party and not just 2 hours. You will NOT regret these guys. Seriously. Thank you!!
