We booked Brooklyn Bluegrass Collective for our wedding this October in upstate NY. We were looking for a bluegrass band that was affordable and that would play some specialty songs for us. They were able to accommodate the special song requests and some other special requests such as letting us use their sound equipment for some family members to sing songs during their breaks. Also, our caterers had a few hiccups that led to dinner service running long and a late start for the band. The band was understanding and delayed their start due to the issue with dinner. We had such a good night dancing to this musical; they are so very talented!

We hired BBC for our wedding, and I could not have been happier with their performance for the ceremony and cocktail hour. They let me request a few songs so I could personalize our event, which made it all the more meaningful. They showed up early to set up, and did absolutely everything I asked like true professionals. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed their performance. I cannot reccomend them enough!

Wow, where do I even begin? From the moment I spoke with Jason on the phone, I just knew that he and the Collective were the right group for us! We married Nov 2017 on a farm and were looking for a blue grass group to play the rehearsal, ceremony & reception. Jason took my initial phone call, and we just immediately vibed on our love for classic rock and folk. I felt completely comfortable that the band understood the feeling we wanted.
They learned all of the songs we wanted, and played their own selection of amazing originals and covers. All of our guests are STILL raving over how awesome they were! And they were super professional. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND!!!

We hired the Brooklyn Bluegrass Collective for our wedding and would highly recommend them to anyone. I had high expectations, but the band was more amazing than I could have ever imagined in every way. They went above and beyond in interacting with our guests- came to our cocktail hour and just started playing in the rose garden even when we didn't ask, helping us choose songs, playing the song for just the right length of time.. The song we chose for our first dance was a difficult one, but their version of it was absolutely beautiful. We could listen to it over and over again. Thank you so much for making our wedding day so much more lively and memorable!

Jason Borisoff was always responsive to us.He was in regular contact, even adjusting to a time change request from us. The music choices were quite good Overall we were very satisfied....Some concerns that they were a little too subdued in their performance..could have been more animated & could have done a bit of interaction with the attendees by introducing a couple of songs with a bit of narration or inviting folks to dance.

The advance communication was terrific - incredibly responsive - and the band was fantastic. Professional (even in the face of record high temperatures for our outdoor party) and incredibly talented. Our guests were very impressed and we look forward to working with this group again!
