Bud’s Collective was the perfect match for our family reunion. Great group to work with and everyone had a great time! I’d hire them again ina heartbeat.
These guys have been playing music together informally for over a decade. Their music speaks of the years spent adapting and blending with one another's styles, creating the sound of unity and professionalism, guaranteed to leave a lasting impression.
The band is made up of Buddy Dunlap - a born entertainer - on guitar, lead vocals, and harmony vocals , Cody Brown on bass, lead vocals, and harmony vocals, and Taylor Baker on mandolin, lead vocals, and harmony vocals.
Each individual member is award winning and together they brought in 2nd place in Nashville at SPGMA in 2014, and were the 2013 DC Bluegrass Union Band of the Year.
Bud's Collective welcomes and encourages requests from any genre. Whats more is that they realize the musical performance is only part of the job when invited to play at your special event. The way they see it is that keeping things running seamlessly and without hassle is a must for any hired entertainer. They make sure you can relax and enjoy your party!
“I hired Bud's Collective for our festival and I can honestly say that they are now one of my favorite bands out there. Not only are their songs well chosen, their harmonies tight, and their solos blazing hot, but they also were just wonderful to work with all day. They arrived early, asked if they could help out in any way, did a fantastic job teaching some workshops and were so nice and worked so well at talking with fans that I think everyone that saw them or met them left there as a die-hard fan.”

“As a bluegrass promoter for over forty years, I often wonder about the future of our wonderful music. After experiencing Bud's Collective several times, I am assured that it is in good hands. Young, talented, great material and very entertaining. I did not hesitate to book them for our Berryville Bluegrass Series.”
