Southern Rail was a huge hit at our fundraiser for the library. Their energy and connection with the group was perfect. Also they were at just the right volume for a social event, so for some people they were "background" music and for others who were up close it was an intimate concert. Lots of new fans here!

these guys are awesome. the bluegrass is of the finest quality. each one of the band members is extremely friendly, and mixed well with the guests during intermission, and most importantly they ROCKED the party!!! our first song was a request out of left field...dont stop believing by journey, and they nailed it. you wouldnt believe how well that song covers into bluegrass. 100% reccomend. if youre on the fence, throw your hat over already and hire these guys!!!

Southern Rail were terrific. They played at our son and daughter-in-law's Welcome Party, the night before their wedding. From our very first contact with Sharon, they were professional, enthusiastic, and cooperative. Sharon understood exactly what we were looking for--upbeat and energetic music to get the weekend festivities started. We communicated easily by email and phone, and worked out the logistics. They accommodated a last minute change in set up due to weather. Most importantly, the music was fabulous. Everyone enjoyed Southern Rail. We would recommend them for any party.
