ABSOLUTELY the best. My wife had wanted a country themed 50th birthday and we delivered. The topping of this cake was the Muleskinner band ! The talent in this band and harmony on an outside venue was amazing. Extremely talented and great interaction with over 100 people we had here. Everyone loved the band including myself. Will hire them again and if your needing a bluegrass band DO NOT PASS GO DO NOT COLLECT $200 and just hire these guys! You will not be disappointed!

This is the second year that the Muleskinner Band has played our fall party and we have really enjoyed them both times. Everyone who has come asks about them. Mr. Purks is a very good communicator, they are flexible, and oh so talented! Highly recommend!!

We could not have been happier with our choice in picking the Mule skinners. We booked them for my wedding and they were incredible. They went out of their way to learn a specific song for me to walk down the isle to and they knocked it out of the park. I got so many compliments. I will be booking the again.

You can't go wrong with the Muleskinner Band. They were friendly and accommodating, just a nice group of talented and funny guys. They fit right in to our party like they were kin folk. We loved this band for our garden wedding. Not only was their music fun, but so were the guys. We had several musicians in our crowd as guests, and the band was very accommodating, letting them play a few special songs for us.

We had been looking for a great Bluegrass band for our concert series, and we found them here. The Muleskinner Band has wonderful harmonies, super charisma, and hilarious jokes. They brought Country and Gospel music to the mix as well. They were so much fun.

Band is unreliable, could not navigate to event, got lost for the morning setup. Band showed up with broken defective equipment, BOTH forward facing speaker mounts were broken, so speakers had to be set directly on our stage making them hard to hear. Band double-booked and prioritized another event over ours. Band did not respect our event schedule, was 90 minutes late to start and half the crowd left while waiting. Band only played 2 sets instead of 3, only delivered two hours instead of three. Band did NOT play an agreed upon song requested for the event in advance. Band was fed and paid in full despite the missing and late sets. Would not book this band again.

To client- contact me if you want some money back.. Speaker brackets did break , client said ?setting them on stage would work..Venue area was not well described & a much larger PA would have been needed, to cover it. I explained we had another gig ,we'd get there, asap, which seemed acceptable...(at our initial discussion) Host asked me twice, prior to gig, if we would start @ 2 o'clock. I gave no guarantee. GPS. is most deceiving. Client didn't know where the event actually was. His cousin graciously diected us .We were assured it would be acceptable to call, if we needed help. I was not aware of the omission of said request , we did 4 we had promised. In 64 years of playing, l've seldom seen all people stay , all of the allotted time, at an event like this. I encourage the readers of this review to read all other reviews of this group.... ln life, people have different perspectives on the same experience, but this was a most unfortunate situation.
