I cannot say enough good things about having Pickled Okra as our wedding band! They were very professional, learned a new song for our wedding (which they nailed by the way, acapella, even!), they were friendly, heartfelt and simply wonderful to have as part of our wedding! We cannot recommend them highly enough. Oh, on that note, they have a diverse range of songs they play from Led Zeppelin to Stand By Me - so don't worry about it being a bluegrass-only band for your wedding guests. We absolutely loved Pickeled Okra. They are such a group of professional and talented individuals. Our guests loved them as well, the music selection was varied and fun. Additionally they are incredibly flexible and easy going with day of wedding madness. Knowing I had a lot on my plate, Todd also kept in touch periodically to make my life easier. Not once did I have to track him down to figure out a plan.
We will definitely be going to see them play elsewhere in the future and hopefully hire them again sometime!

From planning our wedding all the way through to the actual event, I feel that we couldn't have picked a better choice than Pickled Okra. They were quick to respond to any email inquiries and questions, they were flexible with any changes we wanted to make, and they were simply friendly and fun to talk to. My wife and I live in L.A. and Pickled Okra made planning a destination wedding a piece of cake. Their performance was unbelievable! We asked for a few specific covers ranging from alt rock to jazz standards and they nailed them all! Plus, their own repertoire is quite amazing. Every guest absolutely loved them! Book them now, you won't be disappointed!

Amazing! We weren't sure if we could believe all the positive reviews Pickled Okra had, but now we know they're real. Wonderfully accommodating to our requests, fun people to work with, and most excellent foot-stomping, dress-twirling music to dance to. Great mix of bluegrass and covers. Oh Pickled Okra! We hired the band for our wedding ceremony and it was probably one of the best decisions we made. They added that special vintage/romantic touch we hoped for. They have a HUGE list of great classics, current songs and their own medleys that bring a smile to your face. Guests had nothing but positive things to compliment the band. They put their own spin to each song and especially LOVED walking down the aisle to their version of Pachebel. Not only do they sound great, they look the part and you can tell they truly LOVE what they do. Our only regret is hiring them for only 1.5hrs! Thank you for making our dream wedding come true! Hire them!

Pickled Okra was the perfect addition to our wedding. They were flexible and able to travel a little distance, which was nice for us. Todd Gray was responsive to emails and questions, and the band was willing to learn new songs for our event. Everyone loved their energy and the blue grass/folk music! They made our wedding very memorable.

From the day we first met Pickled Okra we knew they where that right choice for our wedding entertainment. Todd and Paisley are great musicians and mixed well with our group. We requested a few gospel tunes for our church event and they complied perfectly finishing the night off with a rousing rendition of "Fly Away".
Todd had a bad cold and his voice was compromised but nobody knew it.
I would recommend them highly.

We loved having Pickled Okra play our Dept of Family Medicine picnic. They arrived on time and in style and were super friendly and wonderful. Excellent musicians too, playing MANY of my favorite songs, even without request, they just "get it." Great band! We hired them for our wedding last weekend and we couldn't be happier! They have a huge song selection and are willing to learn new songs if needed. They communicated very well leading up to the event and exceeded our expectations in every way throughout the night! The way they interacted with each other and the crowd, it really ties in the whole performance. Our guests love them! The Best Man said to me, "When you told me you hired a Bluegrass band for your wedding, I thought, no way will this be good. But, they were the best I've ever seen!" They don't just play great music, they perform! We'll be seeing them again, at their next show!

Jessey and I have nothing but great things to say about Pickled Okra. Very professional, talented, and our favorite trait, very personable. Even this past week we had friends tell us they thought that we knew them from before. im so glad we found them! We gave them a few songs ahead of time, but mainly trusted their judgement; they kept the party alive! they made the music something we didn't have to stress about. They even learned a new/old song which Jessey and her sister sang along! And she still can't even speak about that experience without blushing. just ask us about our wedding band without seeing an ear to ear glowing smile :-) thank you pickled okra!!!

Pickled Okra played our outdoor wedding and they were amazing from the moment we booked them until their last song. Before the wedding, they stayed in touch during the planning process, learned a new song for our first dance, accommodated our untraditional requests, and were so professional and knowledgable. During the wedding, they showed up on time and set up seamlessly. They started playing right on time, and were so fun and upbeat they had all of our guests dancing. They had a great mix of recognizable covers and traditional songs that entertained everyone- the most accessible bluegrass we've ever heard. They were worth so much more than they charged!
