David was very professional. I scheduled 1.5 hours as David originally had another engagement. I was told 10-12 ppl per hour. So I scheduled only 15. At 1 hour only 6 ppl had had a drawing. David agreed to complete 15 which ended up being 2.5 hours. A little sad by that and I forgot to subtract the $50 deposit from the final payment bc the reminder still quoted $200 when in all actuality it should have been $150.

David is very talented in his art. His pictures display a realistic and close likeness to the subjects he draws. David does a good job in communicating and planning prior to the event. We recently hired him for our reception function where he did a great job entertaining the crowd with his artistic drawing talents. One point we missed clarifying with David during our communications prior to the event was the dress attire. The reception was a formal function and David showed up in shorts. Overall, David is great at what he does and would definitely recommend him. May 29, 2015

The quality was great, David was very friendly and everyone liked this part of our party. We underestimated how long it would take to draw couples and therefore we didn't have enough time for everyone to participate. We asked if he could work longer and we would pay but he wasn't able to accommodate us. We will plan better next year as this was a huge hit with our guests.

David was very professional and had a great attitude. He arrived early for the event and had done very nice caricatures for me and my boyfriend ahead of time!! My only concern was that although we had discussed the number of guests (approx 30), room setup and my expectations beforehand, David mentioned at the party that it would be impossible to draw all the guests. I ended up having only 24 people. This caused a little anxiety for me because I didn't want unhappy guests. But David was pleasant the entire time and he even stayed longer to ensure that everyone who wanted to be drawn had the opportunity. Having an artist at my party definitely made it more fun!

First let me start by saying out of the 3 artists we hired, our wedding guests liked David's drawings the best. Unfortunately this was not a great experience for the bride and groom. David was booked from 7-9pm but he chose to stay hours later. As we were doing our grand exit he kept demanding to be paid overage. I was told by guests that David's wife had been drinking at our bar the entire wedding! Coordinator had to tell her to move out of the way so I could walk down the aisle. David is very skilled. If you book him just make sure someone is there to supervise and make sure he doesn't stay over and take advantage of the situation so he can charge you more.

I MAY BE RIGHT - I MAY BE WRONG 1. Why did I draw longer because of a late start-due to rain? 2. Why did I not upset a lot of guests and just left at 8pm? 3. Why did I not just go and not wait for 45 minutes to get paid 5. Why did i get my wife to get me a drink because I was thirsty? 6. Why did I assume the wedding planner would pay me? 7. Did I need to draw a picture of the Bride & Groom in color mounted within a matt and take it to the wedding for the guests to sign? 8. Should I have entertained and made the evening memorable and great fun for every guest that drew on the night? --YES! YES! YES! YES! that is what I do! One bad experience out

I hired David for our wedding. He did a fabulous job and I received many compliments on his work. He was also very friendly and a pleasure to work with. His caricatures capture the likeness of people, more than other artists I have seen. I would definitely hire him again.
