Dale is a true professional! He did an amazing job at our kids 1st birthday party! Everyone was raving about it and soon to be a trend! He was on time and very accommodating and also very much patience! We loved all the family portraits and will be hiring him soon for our next event!

As soon as a I saw Dale Gladstones work I was drawn to it and kept coming back. Every time I contact Dale he responded very quickly, originally we booked him for 3 hrs but the line of our guests waiting to get their picture drawn was so long we ended up booking him for another hour. He is worth every penny. The quality of the drawings are amazing. We also added the sleeves to help our guests protect their pictures throughout the night. This is the first time our guests have seen this type of entertainment at a wedding and they are still talking about it. He even drew me and my husband so we also have an amazing keepsake of our wedding day.

Dale was fantastic! He worked non-stop for 4 hours in the heat and every single one of his characaturist was awesome! He was a great communicator before the event and very pleasant and gracious during the day of. We highly recommend Dale!

Dale went above and beyond. He was available last minute when our previous artist backed out. He immediately drove from NY to Gatlinburg, TN for my sisters wedding. The guest really enjoyed his personality and talents. He even stayed late to accommodate the guest waiting. We were highly satisfied with Dale Gladstone and our Caricature experience.

Dale was very professional and accomodating. I met him the night before the event because he was in the area scouting out location and looking at the light in the area. Very satisfied with everything Dale did and would recommend him to anyone!!

Dale travelled all the way from Brooklyn N.Y to Great Barrington, MA. in the Berkshires to draw for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah party. He was on time and stayed late--over and above our agreed time. He was busy, with adults and kids always gathering to watch. He was so professional, patient, and consistently skilled with each and every caricature. We were so pleased and hope that Dale with be back in this area again soon!

Dale was wonderful. He had quite a distance to drive to get to this party and did so and arrived early. He interacted with my guests and everyone enjoyed their time speaking to him. He was a hit for sure and the people at the party went home very happy with their drawings. I would highly recommend his services to anyone wishing for something different and yet special at a party.

Dale was very reasonable as far as cost. He was prompt and a hard and conscientious worker, taking no breaks for the 4 hour party. Our one comment is that he wasn't able to capture accurate likenesses of his subjects but they were nice drawings.' Most importantly, the kids really enjoyed him and his work.

While I do not have photos of the guests to prove how accurate my drawings are, I doubt Sara saw all the drawings since she did not opt to buy a disc upon which I could have saved them all. Therefore, I think her criticism is unfair. Dale worked very hard at the birthday party we had for our triplets. The kids were surrounded by him all night anxious for a drawing and he never stopped until the party was over!

Re-read his bio and he never actually states that he is quick with the digital pencil so it would seem that for very large groups ( My groups were mostly of 3-4 people and 3 larger groups of at least 6-7 people) ANY caricaturist has limitations. When I questioned his capability to have faster turn around times, he stated to me that he is an artist and I took that as he needs time to create. I'm from NJ and we do everything fast so I did have an expectation of quicker turn around for each drawing but the final product was pleasant and he was on time. Having capability for printing multiple copies of the drawing was nice, too.

This client told me she never hired a caricaturist before. After the party was over I had the distinct impression she thought it would be possible to draw groups of seven people in about 5 or 10 minutes. That is not remotely realistic. She never consulted with me about how to run the sign up sheet she created. Look at the rest of my reviews on this profile and take note of the fact that I am ranked number one far ahead of anyone else on this site. Keeping that in mind you can judge for yourself the usefulness of this review. I have not achieved my ranking or made my living doing this for 35 years by way of disappointing my clients.
