Katherine was a total joy with whom to have worked. I originally had some doubts about how appropriate hiring a caricaturist for my company's annual party would be. I was completely satisfied. I cannot know if all artists work this well with their subjects, but if they don't, they should watch Katherine to see how it SHOULD be done. Each of the 18 people who were drawn had great things to say about her. Interestingly, each had different observations. Evidently, Katherine tailors her approach individually to make each subject feel comfortable. I hope Katherine uses me as a reference for others so I can repay her talent by recommending her

Working with Katherine was great! We worked on a caricature of my husband and me over e-mail prior to the wedding and she really took her time and addressed our concerns (insecurities) and captured us perfectly. At our cocktail reception, she was more than accommodating and the guests really had fun with it. Thanks Katherine!

Katherine was able to come and in a sense make herself at home at our picnic. She was extremely accomodating and our guests got a kick out of her work! She brought a lot of laughs and fun to our picnic!

Katherine is an extremely talented artist. It was a loud party and she performed beautifully.

The party ended at midnight. I was drawing the last person when the host sat down next to him. I smiled and continued drawing. If the host said something to me, I could not hear him because the dance music was so loud, as indicated by the client's remark above. I would gladly have accommodated a request, if that was what he said. I do my utmost to make people happy at all events. Thank you, Susan, for taking the time to submit the feedback.

I had asked her to do black & white caricatures, but when she came she told me that color is so much better and doesn't take too much longer. The color took forever and we were only able to get 12 caricatures in 2.5 hours. I had also told her that I wanted an eiffel tower or beret in the pic to go along with our french theme & that wasn't done. Her response to my complaint was that the party didn't seem very french. She made mention to the guest of honor that she hadn't taken a break and had a long drive home & hadn't eaten. So she was invited to help herself. The caricatures all had a resemblance to Cruela de Ville. They are actually a bit scary.

This comment on my performance is absolutely baffling to me. After I've done a few drawings I always ask the host or hostess if everything is ok or if I should make some changes. Ms. Hoehn smiled and said yes, everybody enjoyed my work. I drew seventeen people in full color and to great laughter and enjoyment, not twelve and not in any frightening manner, as she asserts. I ate a little before leaving, because Ms. Hoehn's father, in whose house the party was, insisted that I eat.

I did not deal with her directly but the person who took care of getting her where she needed to be informed me that she was very rude to him and was kind of high maintence.

This is a shocking response to my work. High maintenance?! I asked if the tea light on the table should be lit since I didn't being a lighter. I had a long line of people waiting to be drawn because people loved my work. I stayed to draw after people had been asked to sit down for dinner. I arrived early, brought my own light and was the last of the artists to pack up and leave. My work was admired, people wanted to book be for their upcoming parties and I was completely professional.

Katherine was a huge hit with the large group at our holiday party. She was right on target with her depictions and added such fun touches and flair to each drawing. Katherine's caricatures got people laughing and interacting as they showed off their personalized drawings to each other. We've had a lot of feedback and I can say everyone had a fun and memorable time! (From the practical side, Katherine was quick in her responses to our request, she was timely and prepared upon her arrival at our venue, and the fee for her work is quite reasonable. Overall, she absolutely made the party the successful event that it was!)

What more is there to say? She arrived on time, she spent two and a half hours assisiduously working and, therefore, completely met all my expectations of her. Plus, my guests loved the little souvenir of their time with us.

Front end communication was pretty good, but sort of fizzled thereafter. Thanks to Gig Masters all became solid just before the event happened. Katherine is a fine caricature artist. The girls laughed wildly at their portraits, though all of them later shared they felt she made them too harsh and elderly looking. I thought they were cute though and well executed. There were no extras given the expense we went to for a group of 6 girls, but it was still a unique thing to offer.

I submit bid same day request comes in, April 3. Party date, May 12. Client does not know if it would materialize:not enough RSVP's. I keep date open for her. Further complications: Client breaks her arm & construction on house, which make party uncertain. April 26, Client confirms. On May 10 she changes starting time, which I'm happy to do. On May 12 I arrive ½hr before starting time, as promised. Everything goes smoothly, the girls laugh uproariously and enjoyed the party. I also draw Client's son. When time is up & I have drawn everybody, Client walks me to car, we talk about how wonderful 13 yr olds are. Client's confusion is evident in her rating.
