We hired Phat Head Caricatures in February for our sons First Holy Communion Party in April and exactly 1 week before our event he contacted us to let us know he overbooked (even though we booked through GigMasters) and that he had to cancel. Phat Head Caricatures did offer a replacement for us at the same cost but not the same style and although it looked like the other person was good it just was not the style we prefered. So with less then a week to go we had to scramble to find a Caricaturist who was available, GigMasters was as helpful as they could be. We were lucky to find someone who did an awesome job. But I would not recommend risking this happening to you!

Mike was wonderful! Our event hosted 300 people and their canine companions outdoors for some Halloween fun. Not only did Mike do fantastic artwork on the human attendees, he made sure the dogs were drawn to perfection as well. If you are looking for a great, affordable artist for a party or community event like ours, Mike is a MUST!

Mike was a fantastic artist and was the highlight of my wedding. The caricatures he drew were accurate and hilarious and everyone loved it. My only regret with him is that I wish I would've hired him for more than 3 hours! He was extremely accommodating in moving from inside the venue to outside after cocktail hour ended as well which I greatly appreciated. Would highly highly recommend doing this for your wedding or any social event. He's a great artist and a great person!

The teens loved the drawings. Mike did exactly what he said he would. He arrived on time, engaged the kids and managed his time to be able to draw everyone. Mike was a professional which allowed us to work the party and concentrate on the kids. Thanks Mike!

Absolutely perfect. We used him for our sons 4th birthday party and it was a huge hit! Everyone loved the unique idea and they got to take something home with them. He's extremely talented, too. We had a superhero theme for the party and he worked right along with it to provide people (adults and kids) with superhero caricatures. He didn't miss a beat and I highly recommend him for your parties.

Mike (the artist) was very nice and VERY talented. Our guests were so impressed with his work. He showed up early and was the last person to leave. He treated our guests well and worked continuously throughout the party without a break! Such a hard worker! We will have him back at our next event.

Days before the event I emailed him to touch base on attire and to get information for his final payment. The day before I had not heard from him so I called. Phone manners left much to be desired and I had a feeling he wasn't going to show up at our event. Hours before he was to arrive I received a call from him saying that his car wouldn't start and that he had no other way to get to us. He did say he was refunding our deposit as soon as possible.

She's right. I take full responsibility for everything. I was supposed to be there and I wasn't so I deserve the bad for your back. it won't happen again. the battery in my car died I couldn't get it started. it's New Year's Eve, so I couldn't get a cab in time. I didn't answer the email because she didn't send it through Gig Masters. I thought it was spam, but that's no excuse. maybe she thought the phone call wasn't promising because she asked for Michael Garibay and it is usually advertisers that ask for you by your full name, and I always hang up on them so I asked who's calling, also I forgot the name of the hotel it was a Hilton not a holiday in.
