Mr. Hudson arrived early for memorial services, knew exactly how far away to play to give a full, rich sound, yet not overpowering. His playing was absolutely breathtaking and added immensurably to the moving depth of the service. He accepted the invitation to join us for the luncheon reception following and was very personable with our family and friends. I can't recommend him highly enough. Bett Sanders

JV Hudson was amazing. All the guests at our wedding on 10/25/07 were talking about how beautiful the bagpipes sounded. He was the first of my vendors to arrive, beating the DJ, the florist and the photographer. I would recommend him over & over again!!!

J. V. Hudson performed at a memorial service for my father. His responses to my e-mails were immediate. His suggestions were very thoughtful, and he was very flexible in accommodating to our needs. He arrived at the service earlier than stated, and indicated he had driven by the location the day before to make sure he knew the way. Prior to the service, he asked if I had time to talk a little about by father. He showed a strong desire to participate fully in the ceremony. He performed beautifully, and stayed afterwards to talk with the guests. Several people came up to me afterwards and told me how much they enjoyed listening to him and talking with him. I would definitely hire J.V. again for an event--and if the ocassion happened to be out of the Triangle area, I would pay for his travel!
