Trio Maxim worked with me to arrange a special song for my walk down the aisle and they were incredibly accommodating to all my decision changes last minute about what I wanted played and when during the ceremony.
Trio maxim showed up early and were ready to go when my guests started arriving. Guests told me the music was just absolutely beautiful. It set such a classy, yet playful mood. I requested that they play more from their pop/contemporary/movies song lists and I really think my guests appreciated hearing familiar songs played with such skill on strings. I got to hear them during cocktails - it was perfect.

What a classy ensemble! Rich full sound. Hard to believe it was emanating from a trio rather than a string quartet. They had more than enough pieces in their repertoire to come up with a nice mix for wedding prelude, ceremony and recessional music. Good timing and transition to separate selections we had made for procession of groomsmen, bridesmaids and bride. Very cooperative and on time. We could have listened to them play all day!

Trio Maxim played at our wedding in June of 2013. Of the samples of several string trio/quartets in the Bay Area, Trio Maxim were the most polished and in tune. They also had a huge repertoire including several contemporary pieces. During our ceremony, they provided a nice ambiance and adjusted their volume so that our officiant and readers could be heard. Even though they had asked for a small nod for the transitions during the ceremony, their experience and professionalism demonstrated that they did not need this at all the day of. Finally, Jennifer was very pleasant and professional in our correspondence and answered all of our questions promptly.

We were very pleased with Trio Maxim. Jennifer was very prompt and responsive to all emails. We did not have a bridal party and so their recommendations for the processional, etc., was much needed. We had a 64 person wedding and so their Beattle's version of "When I'm 64" all synchronized well with our guests. The guests were well entertained by their selection of classy and modern music. We were able to hear them play throughout our entire cocktail since our ceremony and reception were held at the same place. They needed minimal direction as they had the timing and pace down perfectly. They definitely enhanced our garden wedding. We highly recommend Trio Maxim!!

Trio Maxim was a wonderful addition to such a special occasion! Absolutely I would have them again at a function and I have already recommended them to a couple of friends. Very professional, remained in the background while nicely serenading the guests. I asked for a special song and they arranged it into a beautiful rendition. They were very professional, great communication that included coordinating with our church music director, music was beautifully played. Absolutely 10+

I hired Trio Maxim for my wedding in Calistoga. Although I was tucked away or having photos taken for most of their playing time, I did have many compliments from wedding guests on the beautiful music they played. Further, the pieces they played during our ceremony sounded amazing; I couldn't have been happier! I would recommend them to any other person in need of a string ensemble.

Musicians play, and we chose pachelbel Canon and Handel, and the sound was superb!
