These guys ROCK!! Everyone at my party commented on how great the band was and the song selection. Their music on the website is nowhere near a good representation of their performance. they are much better live and rolling. They had the crowd on their feet dancing and grooving all night playing all of the music we grew up with, just like we remembered it. My entire experience with House Special start to finish was top drawer. This was my 60th birthday party and I wanted a band to rock the house. I consider myself not only to be lucky with my friends but also with my new House Special friends. Like I said at the first: These guys ROCK!!!

This band is amazing! They played some of the classic rock songs better than the original bands. You can tell they love what they do by their energy. I've already recommended them and I'm so glad they were the band I picked for the party. I danced the night away, not wanting to sit down for any song. I chose songs of their playlist online and they truly exceeded my expectations! Way to go guys and thanks so much for making my birthday so special!

They did an outstanding job for our Mother's 75th Surprise Birthday Party. The venue was a bit smaller than we had originally hoped for but, the band was still able to work with us and play an outstanding set of music. They turned down a bit for us due to the smallness of the room and it was excellent!
When and if we ever have another party/get together, they will be our go to band!

My husband and I hired House Special for a party celebrating our daughter's marriage (the wedding took place in England). We highly recommend this band for your special occasion. As a matter of fact, we have already booked them for another event in May 2016!!

These guys were great! I had never booked a band before and they made this as painless as possible. Everybody at the party kept remarking about how good they sounded. Their sound sample doesn't do them justice. An added bonus, I was blown away when they announced they learned my Mom's favorite song to play for that night!! That was special and they did great for their first collective performance! A BIG Thank You!

I love this band. I have used them many times for various events. They are down to earth, friendly and fun guys! I recommend them to anyone throwing an event or party. The variety of music is awesome and they sound great! I will use them again and again.

I booked House Special for a SMU event in the fall. It was for Family Weekend. House Special came right on time to set up, and the crowd loved them! They play such good music and have great energy! Book House Special- you wont regret it.

This is my 3rd time using House Special and I will continue to use these guys for every event I can. They are wonderful to work with and just your down to earth type of guys. Makes working with them such a breeze. Even with my location being outside of Dallas a little ways, they have never complained. Wonderful group!

The band was super friendly and nice to work with. They were on time and set up quickly and were ready to play. I liked it that they called in advance to talk about the event and what kind of music mix we wanted. They brought some lights that really added to the "look" and helped out once it got dark outside (they played outdoors on the lawn). They even let a couple of our guests sing on their mics/equipment. The band was gracious, accommodating, friendly and a great value for the money. If you like classic rock, they knew lots of songs too. I would use them again for a future party.
