This was the second time Brian played at a memorial service for my family. As before, his music a transformed a large impersonal room into a warm, comforting space where people entering felt at ease. He thoughtfully selected pieces from his repertoire based on our request. We think of him as a friend of our family.

Brian's performance at the start of a memorial service was perfect -- he both established a background mood that turned a public space into a hallowed one, and a unique presence that captured the attention of attentive individuals. I was especially grateful when he took time to show my grandson the technique that made a guitar sound like an orchestra.

Working with Brian to set up the perfect ceremony set-list was the easiest and most conforming aspect of my entire wedding planning. Brian was always available to chat or email about the songs we wanted. In once instance, Brian learned the song we sent him while we were on the phone and it sounded great even over the phone. I could not recommend Brian enough based on the sound, experience, and price point. 10/10, 5 stars out of 5.

Working with Brian was delightful, from the very first communications to the end of our event. Brian was always very responsive to our questions and provided a “setlist” that was perfect for our event. Brian was dressed perfectly for the occasion and was very professional throughout the event. His excellent guitar skills and his wide music repertoire were a perfect fit for the tone and setting of our wedding ceremony and celebration. The sound system that he used worked perfectly, and he moderated the volume to fit the flow of our celebration. We highly recommend Brian.

Brian created the right music for the occasion with modest feedback. He played while people gathered, in the church ceremony, and in the background for the reception. We had a fabulous experience with Brian Slaymaker! He was very professional and a fantastic performer. He had a great selection of songs and was willing to go any direction we wanted. Brian helped make my 40th bday celebration fabulous! We received many compliments on the celebration, specifically because Brian added just what we needed with his guitar playing.
