We are String of Pearls Quartet out of College Park, MD. We'd love to make your event special. Your wedding day may be the most important day of your life, and our goal is to help make it as wonderful and memorable as possible. The classical group is all about our sound, and we do have many soundbites to choose from in our press kit, including not only classical selections, but also pop music arrangements. We play lots more than classical music, as you can see from our ever growing song list. My jazz group is also available for hire. We can work as a violin/ guitar/ bass/ drum quartet, a trio of violin/guitar/bass, or as a violin and guitar duo. This link takes you to one of those performances. My Mariachi trio is "Mariachi de los Compadres". We play authentic Mexican Mariachi music, as well as other Latin American Standards. For world music, I play with the "Machaya Klezmer Band". (We play authentic Klezmer music (Eastern European Jewish Folk Music), and have served the Jewish community of the greater Washington DC area for over 20 years, playing a multitude of Jewish weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, as well as concerts.), the World Jam Club (selections for all over Latin America), and Tango Reo (tangos, milongas, and walses) Whatever your musical needs are,I hope to have the opportunity to play for you.
