Susan and String of Pearls were phenomenal!!!! We had them perform at our event and we honestly could not have been happier. They were accommodating and very willing to work with us on crafting the perfect atmosphere with the music selection. We cannot recommend them enough!!!!!!

Susan and her group play beautifully! We had them play 'pop' music and other top 40 hits. They were kind enough o play "Hail to the Chief" before my boss gave remarks at our legislative event. 10/10, would book again!

We hired String of Pearls to play during our wedding ceremony and my only regret is, as the bride, not being able to hear their full set! We got so many compliments from our guests on how wonderful String of Pearls was! Susan of String of Pearls was also very accommodating when the song that I wanted to walk down the aisle to was not on their playlist. Susan found the sheet music online and had no problem performing the song. If we are ever in need of another string quartet we will absolutely reach out to String of Pearls!

Susan was truly wonderful to work with---very professional, prompt in her responses, and so talented. She was able to create 4 whole new arrangements for us--adapting "What a Wonderful World," "Here Comes the Sun," "Don't Stop Believn," and "Call Me Maybe" to be instrumental. Even my guests commented on how nice the music (and fun) it was! On top of it, she's such an accomplished musician and a real great value when you compare all of the other musicians listed in GigMasters. Book her before she fills up!

I didn't get to personally meet the musicians on my wedding day but, their music was absolutely beautiful. According to my directors, they were on time and very professional. THE SUSAN JONES JAZZ QUARTET PERFORMED AT OUR HOME FOR A WEDDING ENGAGEMENT / CHRISTMAS PARTY, AND THEY WERE FANTASTIC. THEY ARE VERY ACCOMPLISHED MUSICIANS AND THEY WERE THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE PARTY. We had a great experience working with String of Pearls. Susan was super easy to work with and provided great suggestions for the music selections. Her pricing is very reasonable. They arrived early on the day of the wedding and played beautifully!!! I am a huge fan of classical music and to have a string quartet play for my wedding ceremony was a dream come true. Susan and the other musicians from String of Pearls really made the ceremony special! They even stuck around after the ceremony and played for a little while as everyone transitioned into cocktail hour.

I can't speak enough to the great experience we had with String of Pearls. We hired a pianist for our ceremony through them and they were extremely responsive, well coordinated, accommodating with our song requests, and offered recommendations to help us fill out our service. I was so extremely pleased as a bride to have not had to worry about this extremely important element of our day. My husband and I chose String of Pearls for our wedding. They were wonderful, and played all of our requested non-repertoire songs perfectly - even Metallica sounded great. As a trio (guitar, bass, violin), they played our ceremony and then the cocktail hour. Our guests loved the music, and it was wonderful to walk down the aisle with my dad to one of my favorite Beach Boys' songs. My husband and I were so pleased, and could not recommend Susan and her crew more. They were professional, helpful, and above all, wonderfully talented musicians. Thank you for making our wedding so memorable!

I was able to preview String of Pearls in a coffee shop in MD before they performed at my wedding. Susan was very professional and took several requests from me at the coffee shop. She communicated well via email and phone as we were planning for my wedding reception. She accommodated for all of my special requests, including learning new songs with her trio and adding 2 soloists last minute for my first dance and my father-daughter dance. She even provided a soloist (the bass player) for the mother-son dance. They are very good with improv and even invited one of my soloists up to sing additional songs. I'm so very pleased and would choose them to do it again.

We were extremely happy with them. They arrived on time with plenty of time for set up. They were willing to move from the wedding site downstairs to the reception upstairs. The music was beautiful and it all was just perfect.

String of Pearls did an awesome job at our wedding! Susan, the lead performer, took the time to meet with us and discuss the music for the ceremony well in advance. The performance was amazing, and she also did a great improvisational accompaniment of a song that one of our friends sang during the wedding. All of this also came for a great price. We are very happy with String of Pearls! Susan was easy to contact, replied back promptly, and the web site helped us select the music for our wedding. What you hear on-line is nothing compared to what it sounds like in person. We got so many compliments from our friends and family and String of Pearls gave our wedding the touch of class we were looking for!
