Third Floor Strings is a Houston-based string ensemble that has been performing together since 2007. We provide professional service at an affordable price - with a focus on creating an extraordinary experience for our clients.  We have an extensive list of music from classical to contemporary and we have the expertise and flexibility to work closely with you to select just the right music for your event, large or small. We can also provide custom musical arrangements if you have a "special song" you'd like to incorporate.

We have performed for weddings, corporate dinner parties, private receptions, holiday parties, and other special events. Our members have performed live with BJ Thomas, Chaka Khan, Christopher Cross, Kansas, Kanye West, Ray Price, and Ricky Martin, and have been featured on studio recordings with local Texas artists.  We perform all over the Texas Gulf Coast area and are adding new venues to our list all the time.  We would love to work with you at your selected location! These ladies were simply WONDERFUL!  Amy was extremely professional, helpful, and accommodating with preparations for our wedding.  She was open to suggestions for songs that were previously not in the group's repertoire, and even surprised me on the wedding day with another perfect selection that I had not considered.  On top of all that, an unplanned rain storm ("lucky," they say) changed all of our plans at the last minute.  While I was clearly losing it, the trio was calm, pleasant, and didn't skip a beat.  And the music was top notch!  Third Floor is penthouse level in my opinion.  :)

5 Stars from beginning to end!!  Amy is so kind and professional.  She was just a pleasure to work with right from the start.  We even had a last minute change and she was warm and accomodating.  She was very patient while we were making our decisions.  She never rushed us.  The musicians arrived on time and started promptly when they were supposed to.  They are all so talented.  The music was even better than we imagined it would be.  We were very pleased with our choice to use Third Floor Strings for my daughter's wedding.  I would highly recommend them to anyone needing entertainment for an event.

Third Floor Strings made my day so special. Amy Floyd was very nice to deal with before, during and after my wedding Day. She was very acommodating and thoughtful concerning my wedding and the requests I made. I enjoyed listening to them and they played beautifully. I wish I had another excuse to hire them!

Ceremony was flawless thanks to Third Floor Strings! 

I found third floor strings to be amazing!! We added a last minute request and they were awesome at accommodating it for us. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Amy is great!! She selected pieces to play as guests were coming in, and I think she did an excellent job at selecting the pieces.
