Overall, in terms of their music, the Boston String Quartet did a wonderful job.. there were some communication difficulties involved in dealing with them... 1) we used them for a wedding... it was VERY difficult to get in touch with thier manager, and I did not get to speak with them(per thier manager) until the day before my wedding in order to communicate directions. 2) After going over the songs and timing a couple of times, they messed up the song they were supposed to play when my father and I started walking down the aisle at the ceremony.

We got a lot of compliments on the musical performance these guys put on! We loved them and thought the music really added to our ceremony, and made it "ours." I had made a special request for my entrance which the band did not play, but, perhaps they just couldn't find the sheet music? In any case, I wasn't consulted on the substitution, but I thought it was fine and performed really well. Overall, I was quite pleased, as was my new husband! I especially appreciate that the quartet learned some new pieces just for us-- thanks so much, guys!

Although I put "5" for the talent question, I unfortunately can't comment on their actual playing, because there were so many people in the reception area, talking, that I couldn't hear the music. This noise level was not something we or they could control, obviously. All I can say is that they came on time, set up w/o problem, stayed for the length of time they were supposed to, and left when they were supposed to. They also worked with us to come up with a good playlist. So, very professional. I assume the music was good, but I couldn't hear it!

The Boston String Quartet was amazing! They provided music at our wedding ceremonies and cocktail hour. They even learned a new piece of music for us! I would highly recommend BSQ for any event!!
