The Kalal Trio made my husband’s 75th birthday celebration unforgettable. Ed and Sylvia Kalal and their son, Jim, are exceptionally talented musicians who created the perfect atmosphere as our guests enjoyed dinner. They arrived on time, were thoroughly professional, and their music was simply beautiful. Beyond their talent, they were so warm and personable that by the end of the evening we felt like we were spending time with old friends. After the party, my husband and several family members, who are musicians themselves, gathered around our kitchen table sharing guitars and stories with them. Our guests are still talking about how wonderful they were!

Jim was an amazing guitarist, he played beautifully at our daughters wedding. We didn't give him a playlist, just requested Pachelbel's Canon for the walk down the aisle, he came up with his own and everything was better than imagined. He was professional, very communicative, quick to respond and easy to work with. I would hire him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a very talented guitarist!

My overall experience with both James & Sylvia was wonderful. James had quick and professional communication both via phone & email. He proudly sent me all of his professional experiences and where he had played in the past. He shared Sylvia's experience and was very thorough about his accomplishments; which showed that he is truly passionate about what he does! James & Sylvia were dressed professionally for the occasion and arrived at The Cloister in a timely manner and were fully prepared to perform. They added such poise and played beautifully during my husband's 50th birthday celebration! Doesn't get better than that! Overall, an absolutely beautiful memory!

We were so impressed with James & Sylvia! They were absolutely fantastic!! We booked them for my fathers 73rd surprise birthday party and they arrived on time and were very professional & attentive to our needs. They played a wide range of songs from Jimmy Buffet to Frank Sinatra to Kenny Rogers....and a little bit of old hymns for my father. Everyone loved it! They were just the touch of elegance and class we were looking for.
We are thinking about booking them for our church Christmas banquet we may be having this year. Can’t wait! Thanks again for everything!!

James and Sylvia performed at my wife's birthday party. Their music performance was incredible and there was something special and classy about the sound of a Spanish guitar playing in the background as we entertained the guests, who could not believe that we hired such incredibly gifted, professional guitar players. James and Sylvia are also the nicest people you will meet!. Since it was an Elton John themed party they even prepared to play a custom song list of my wife's favorite songs. My wife and my guests were blown away by their performance and their presence made this party an absolute hit. I highly recommend James and Sylvia for your next event!

James and Sylvia created the perfect ambience and backdrop to our intimate gathering of 25 or so friends and family. Due to inclimate weather, we held the party inside and James and Sylvia were able to adjust their sound level perfectly so that the guests could still easily converse with one another without being drowned by music. They were both very professional and I would recommend them to anyone in need of good talent.

Jim and Sylvia were wonderful -- they performed for nearly 3 hours, accommodated the musical tastes and interests of our guests who ranged in age from mid-twenties to mid-nineties, and made the event truly special for our guests of honor. All of our guests commented on their skill and musicianship (and several pulled up chairs so that they could simply sit and listen to the music!) and asked how we found them. Thank you for making my parents' 30th wedding anniversary party an event we'll be talking about for years.
