We had our Wedding on the 27th of August 2012, with little notification, Otherwise Strings were able to accommodate all our needs with no hassles. We had the violinist and cellist and they sounded amazing. We were extremely happy with the way they performed the songs and it made our day so special. Everything was perfect! I wouldn't change one thing. They arrived early and determined the best place to set up. Everyone enjoyed the music choices. The ceremony portion went very smoothly as well. It added the perfect touch of elegance to my daughter's wedding! Thank you so very much!!

My husband and I we over whelmed by their professionalism and talent. Our guest we shocked to hear the pop songs they played, and we loved not having to conform to just having classical music for our wedding. They made such an impact at our wedding and would definitely recommend them. Thank you otherwise strings for putting up with all my craziness with song choices and last minute changes.

Mari was a pleasure to work with. Very professional and accommodating. She coordinated with the pianist from the church where the ceremony was held with no problem. The guitarist who accompanied her played during the cocktail hour at the reception venue was also excellent and played exactly the music we wanted to set the proper mood. Mari was always available to answer my questions. Otherwise Strings was fantastic and I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality music for their event.

Overall, I was happy with Otherwise Strings and loved the music they played for my wedding ceremony. My only knock against them is regarding the communication to get the event confirmed and contract signed. From when I reached out to confirm, it took five days to get the contract sent and then there were so many mistakes (rate, number of performers, start time) in the contract that it took another four days to finalize.

Hi Margo! Yes, I take full responsibility for being unorganized and sending contracts that needed to be amended. That was not acceptable and I apologize. I am I am implementing a different, more organized system so that something like this will not happen again. Thank you for letting us provide music on your special day.

I requested a violin/guitar duo for a cocktail hour at our wedding and got so much more. They also accompanied on a song during our ceremony and were great collaborators on the event. Such nice people, which goes along way in my book. Highly recommend.

Oops, completely forgot to review. They were absolutely terrific! Things ran a bit later than expected and they were super nice about it. They were on top of things and the music was great!
