The Quartet is amazingly versatile and the music we selected--from classical for the outdoor ceremony to contemporary for the cocktail hours--was beautifully played. The musicians presented themselves very well professionally and their music was exceptional. We recommend them wholeheartedly.

They were very easy to work with and very accommodating. They were even able to change our ensemble from a trio to a quartet at the last minute to better suit our needs based on our song list. My only regret is that I didn't really get to listen to them play. I was so focused on greeting all of my guests that I barely noticed they were there :) All of my guests spoke very highly of them so I was sad not to really get to hear. All in all we were very pleased!

Everything went well - the group was on time for our ceremony and had the music ready on cue. Excellent experience!

We had the String Duo (violin, cello) for our catholic wedding ceremony. They were on-time, performed well and were an all around success. We requested general classical music along with some Beatles songs which all sounded great. Would definitely work with them again.

Holiday PartyReviewed on December 5, 2011From Boulder, CO

This is the third year we've had the Triad String Trio perform for our Holiday Party and the third year we have been extremely satisfied. I recommend Deb and her group to anyone who is searching for this type of music for their event!

The Ribbons & Strings Quartet played waltz and other dance music for a ball. Their selection of songs was great and their music was beautiful.

We hired the Razumovsky String Quartet for our wedding. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. Their music was absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to get our wedding video so that I can listen to their music again. When I first heard the music, as I was getting ready in my room, I felt a sense of relief, like everything would go ok. Also, they had such a large repertoire, there was not one song that I wanted played that was not on their list of music and they are even willing to learn songs that are not on their list. I definitely would recommend the Razumovsky String Quartet to a friend. They are awesome!

The quartet was simply amazing! Many of our guests commented on how beautiful they sounded....we couldnt have imagined it being any more perfect with our wedding. Only negative feedback is that we asked if they were going to be eating and they said yes, so we included them in the meal headcount and paid the caterer to feed them, only to find out they left after appetizers and did not stay for the dinner we paid for. That seemed a bit unprofessional. That said - we'd definitely use them again. The music was spectacular.

:

The musicians did not realize that the meal for them was going to be 45 minutes later than planned. Since the wedding was a two hour drive, they left to beat the traffic. From now on, I will always ask about the timing of meals for the musicians before accepting an offer for a meal. I do apologize for this.

Deb is great to work with. The rehearsal of all the songs is a great thing to do! It wasn't only informational but also really fun! All of the musicians were very talented. Even though my husband and I didn't get to here much, everyone said they did great! I would hire them all over again!

At our insistence our daughter engaged the Triad trio for her wedding. The bride and groom were sold on the trio the day they heard them play in a preparatory meeting and wanted to extend the time they were going to play. They were also great on the wedding day. They showed up on time and gave a great performance. They were very knowledgeable about music and can play any arrangement. We were very glad that we engaged Ribbon and Strings.

My Husband and I were very pleased with R&SQuartet and their overall performance. They played on a windy/sunny/rainy/hot afternoon at Sapphire Point overlook on a small mountain top. We put them under a 10x10 awning they played up there as if they were indoors. They played all non-typical wedding music and delivered. Our guests were very pleased. Wish we (bride/groom) could had arrived earlier and stayed later to listen and enjoy! Overall, well done R&SQuartet and thanks for making our wedding ceremony so special! - C & R 16th July 2011

We had our wedding in a Catholic church and wanted somewhat of a traditional string quartet but I am a sucker for piano music. Deb suggested we do a piano quartet (3 strings and 1 piano). It was beautiful! Everything was executed better than I could have imagined. The company worked with us to arrange songs that were not on their repetoire list and arranged them better than we had imagined they would sound with the combination of strings and piano. Thank you so much for your part in our wedding day. We are forever thankful for your amazing work. Sincerely, Tessa & Scott Schneider

We truly want to thank the RAZUMOVSKY STRING QUARTET for being a part of our special day. Deb Corisis was extremely flexible and patient with us leading up to the event and the ensemble did a fantastic job at the wedding! We TRULY appreciate Deb and the RAZUMOVSKY STRING QUARTET for their time and hard work to make this occasion special. They did a beautiful job and we would highly recommend them for future events. Thank you!

The Razumovsky String Quartet played at my daughter's wedding last week. They have an enormous repertoire of music and can play just about any genre. We loved that they were willing and able to write an arrangement for any song we desired. The guests all commented on how wonderful they sounded! We are a family of musicians, and so were quite picky and exacting about who we hired. The Razumovsky String quartet met our expectations beautifully! They have a rich sound with wonderful tone. They handled themselves professionally, were prompt & on time, and helped to make the day even more special. We would hire them again.

Although we had rain delay that ultimately involved moving the cermony from outside to inside, the Razumovsky String Quartet accomodated us and helped us to have a very nice wedding. They played the music perfectly and even learned a new song for our sand ceremony. Thanks for a great result, even under these trying circumstances.

Triad Trio: I'd have to say that you guys were very professional and did a fabulous job. We were pleased that you were able to learn our requested song on such short notice and did it beautifully. The reception music was great and everybody at our wedding was very happy with the performance and the fun music played. Thank you so much for adding that extra touch to such a perfect day.

Christmas PartyReviewed on December 13, 2010From Lakewood, CO

This was our second year hiring Ribbons & Strings and, once again, we were completely happy with them and their performance. If you haven't hired a strings group and don't know where to start, I would highly recommend them. They are professional and talented and play a variety of holiday music. I will continue to go back to Ribbons & Strings as long as we have a need for strings music!

The Debonair Duo from Ribbons & Strings Ensembles were simply fantastic. They were very professional, easy to work with, the music was beautiful, and the ribbons on their instruments matched our wedding colors perfectly. They were very flexible, and willing to play music outside of their standard repertoire. Our pastor announced the wrong hymn, and the performers didn't even skip a beat. They played the hymn he announced, and no one knew any difference. We would highly recommend them.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on October 11, 2010From Littleton, CO

The Razumovsky String Quartet from Ribbons & Strings Ensembles added a wonderful touch to our outdoor wedding ceremony. They were very accommodating to our requests and offered an endless selection of music. The quartet arrived in plenty of time to set up and play background music as our guests arrived. They played a very well paced and appropriate set for the wedding procession. During the ceremony, we had also requested that they play a couple of short interludes. As the ceremony completed, the quartet played the recessional music on cue, providing a perfect close to the ceremony. We and all of our guests were more than pleased by their performance.
