Dear Doctor, You and your lovely group were a pleasure to work with! pp
I have been doing standup comedy for almost thirty years. I am fifty years old, but have the body of a 48 year old. But seriously, I had a near fatal surfing accident in Malibu in 2005, and had to learn to walk again. I still walk with a cane to this day. That said, in 2013 I got the biggest break of my career, when I was hired as a staff writer on the new Arsenio Hall Show. I had the honor of writing for Arsenio for the ten month run of the show. I also appeared on the Arsenio show several times in comedy sketches and on January 22nd, 2014, I performed my standup act on the show to a wonderful response. In addition to writing for Arsenio, I wrote freelance monologue jokes for both David Letterman and Jay Leno for many years. My blog can be found on the Huffington Post. The biggest influences on my sense of humor have been my dad, the great George Carlin and Johnny Carson, David Letterman, Jay Leno and Jonathan Winters. I love what I do and feel blessed to be able to do it.
