We were all blown away by how good this band was last night. People were commenting to me (I organized the reunion party) all evening about how much they loved the band. 675 Characters isn't even close to enough. Good Foot was professional from the get-go, they were beyond flexible and absolutely made our wedding a night we'll remember forever. I've gotten no less than a dozen compliments from guests on how awesome the music was. In fact, many guests said they didn't even see wedding cake on the tables because they were busy enjoying themselves on the dance floor. David and his group are energetic, enthusiastic, talented and professional to the core. Their selection is extensive and their willingness to play whatever we asked was greatly appreciated. Again, 5/5 stars, couldn't ask for a better band.

We booked Good Foot for our wedding in September of 2015 and man were we blown away by their performance! These guys are truly the BEST and are extremely gifted. Honestly, my husband thought they skewed a little older for our age when I first booked them (we're in our mid 30's), but I knew from the reviews and the videos that they'd be a perfect fit. These guys rocked Elmwood Park Zoo (our venue) and our guests could not stop raving about them. Our only disappointment was that we didn't get to dance more. The process from start to finish was fantastic- David Zipse is a very thorough, detail oriented individual who thrives on perfection. Highly recommend Good Foot!

Good Foot brought the crowd to the dance floor and it truly felt like a party, rather than a corporate gathering. Their musical talent as a cover band is the best I've ever worked with, and I've been doing this for multiple organizations for more than a decade. I would give my highest recommendation, both to the band and to the musical talent of David Zipse on the piano. He's a magician.

We couldn't be happier with Good Foot. Our guests raved about their talent, professionalism and they definitely made the difference between a good wedding and a great wedding. We had or better said they had the dance floor hopping. Many of our guests laughed because people who never get up to dance were on the dance floor. We all have a GREAT time thanks to Good Foot. Good Foot played our wedding reception and kept the floor jumping all night long! They are by far the best wedding band we have ever seen. We got complements all night on the music and we were thrilled. If you like funk, Motown, soul, and the classics, then this is your band! They are a crowd pleaser.

Good Foot was FANTASTIC! From our first contact through the day of our wedding, David made us feel totally at ease: he helped us to organize all the details from announcements to special songs to timing, and made great suggestions when we asked. Our wedding day was VERY hot, but the band didn't skip a beat - the dance floor was packed all night long! "Never Sit Down" is their motto and they mean it. We were blown away by this band's talent and energy. My mum said that she had never seen people race to the dance floor with more enthusiasm! Good Foot was undoubtedly the BEST decision we made in wedding planning, and my husband and I give our highest recommendation!

Wow... Good Foot exceeded my expectations. Not only were they super easy to work with and communicate with...but also VERY accommodating. Dave always answered my emails quickly and was very helpful. Good Foot was AWESOME! I found Good Foot on this site and after doing some research decided they were the best for the job and boy did they deliver. The comment we received most from the guests was how great the band was. Like they say on their site, their goal is for people to never sit down and that was the case for our wedding 100%. The events coordinator at our reception location asked us for their info as a recommendation for other people planning their wedding because she said it was the best they had seen and they have seen a lot (Hershey Country Club)! Do not hesitate! They are well worth it!

AMAZING!!! This band is professional, talented, and fantastic to work with. They were very flexible and great communication. Learned a few new songs just for us! They did a great job announcing entrances and events throughout the night. They played a good mix of oldies and current music and kept everyone dancing almost the entire night! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience with a band and they were VERY affordable! I was so pleasantly surprised. I want to throw a party just so I can hire them again. And I have already been recommending them to everyone I know who wasn't at the wedding to see them live. Gotten many compliments from the wedding guests.

Not many bands can have the entire dance floor full ALL night long but they did! Our daughters wedding was fabulous because of Goodfoot. I wish I could afford to have a wedding every weekend to hear them play. All our friends told us how great they were too. Dave is the absolute nicest guy and so pleasant to work with over the phone or e-mail. They traveled three hours to play for us and then after playing till 11pm, packed up and drove 3 hours home, not many bands are willing to do that! I would highly recommend this band if you like the versatility of quite piano music, soft dinner music and great get down funky dance music!

What a fantastic Wedding Band!! Goodfoot is a talented group of musicians that just set the mood for the party. Everybody commented to me what a great band this is and how it made the wedding so much fun.
The dance floor was packed the whole time, with people aged 10 to 100!
Yes our 100 year old uncle could be seen on the floor busting a move!
I want Goodfoot to play at all of our parties from here on in.

I would highly recommend Good Foot! Before the wedding, I was in touch with David Zipse, who was wonderful about staying in touch with me about details and taking any requests from us about what we did and did not want. At the wedding, all of the band members were professional and courteous and greatly contributed to making the evening fun for all of our guests. The music was perfect for a multi-generational crowd – everyone was up and dancing all night! Guests raved about the band afterwards. We are so thankful we found Good Foot - I could not imagine a better band to help celebrate any occasion!

These guys were great--so talented and professional. They really enjoy what they do and their enthusiasm carried over to the guests. It makes for a wonderful party. We had a wedding with a very mixed age crowd and everyone enjoyed the music. They certainly lived up to the reputation of getting all guests up to dance!
David was terrific on the keyboard and provided background music for the cocktail hour and during the beginning of dinner. It was very pleasant and allowed people to actually have conversations.
I highly recommend Goodfoot for your party.

Good Foot had absolutely everything to do with making our wedding a success! A perfect mix of slow and upbeat songs that kept everyone dancing all night. They learned a few songs that we requested and even let my wife and I get up and play with them for a song. Just a great group of guys! Most important to me was that unlike a lot of other wedding bands and djs, they weren't cheesy. They seem to avoid all of the tired songs that are always played at weddings while still playing music that everyone can recognize. I highly recommend Good Foot and, in my opinion, you can't beat the value. I can't say enough. Thanks guys!

Good Foot was amazing! From the very moment I got in contact with Dave he was so professional. He responed to our many questions immediatly. They met every request we had for them, & their proformance exceeded our expectations. Our family did not stop dancing all night and the band only took one short break. All of our guests commented on how great they were. We think that bands are the best entertainment at a wedding & we would strongly recomend Good Foot to anyone. We don't have a single bad thing to say about them.

I have nothing but great things to say about Goodfoot and David Zipse. The band was very professional, talented and overall just fun to have at a wedding. We received many compliments the next day on the choice of a live band over a DJ, and all of our guests had a great time.
The band was very accommodating to all our requests and helped make our day very special. If you have some songs special to you, they are willing to learn them, and if you would rather keep the original version, they are able to provide a seamless transition to a song via mp3 or cd.

You guys sounded great! I appreciate the extra time you took to learn the songs that I requested, especially the Isley Brothers tune at the end. The music sounded professional and you all looked great as well. My only recommendation for the future would be that you become more familiar with wedding routines, as the introductions were a bit mixed up in the beginning. The ipod may have been confusing though and that is my fault. Overall, though, I think that you guys could be a top draw for weddings in the future after a few procedural kinks are worked out. You are very talented and I would use you guys again with no hesitation. Thank you again for everything!

In the future we'll advise clients to put any prerecorded music they'd like to have us play on a CD instead of an iPod. It was a nice idea to have a different song partially played for each entrance, but the introductions would have been gone much smoother if we could have simply advanced to the next song. Having the band just vamp one tune, bringing the volume down for each announcement, still seems to work best.
