We were so pleased with the Sound Effect. They were everything and more than we expected in a band. Our wedding was perfect and they were a hit with all of our guests, both old and young. They played a variety of songs and kept the dance floor full the entire night. Everyone commented on how great they were. We would recommend them to any future bride and groom. They'll make your day unique and fun!

The Sound Effect were great! The Jazz Quartet that played before and during dinner was perfect. The Band were very respectful and accomodated our party for what ever we asked. The Vocals (even though the lady vocal got in late due to her late flight but still made her way to my event)were just awesome! The event was celebrating my husband's Big 50th Birthday and he was pleased! I would definitely recommend the Sound Effect to everyone!!! I just wanted to comment on the note that our female vocalist was late. This gig was booked 36 hours before the performance date with the client's knowledge that our female vocalist was out of state and was scheduled to arrive on a flight 90 minutes before performance time and that we could not ensure that she would make the gig at all. This is why her tardiness did not reflect in a negative rating.

The Sound Effect played for our son's Bar Mitzvah and wildly exceeded all of our expectations. They sound much better in person than there demos. They're also friendly and outgoing and don't have any musician's ego issues. I'd highly recommend them.

The Sound Effect provided a great atmosphere for celebrating all of the hard work of our staff during the past year. They assisted us with the timeline as we planned our event, and performed very well. They had people up on the dance floor who hadn't danced in years. From every aspect, The Sound Effect delivered more than I expected. They arrived in plenty of time to finish setup more the a half-hour ahead of time, so that the stage was clear as our wedding guests arrived. They kept the dance floor rocking all night and the time passed by so quickly. Our highest recommendation.

We hired The Sound Effect to play our wedding reception. We were looking for a band that would be a lot of fun and would get people to dance. Scott Switzer and The Sound Effect were very professional and easy to work with from start to finish. More importantly, they rocked! I’ve never been to a wedding where the dance floor was packed the entire time—no one wanted the night to end! The Sound Effect surpassed all expectations and we highly recommend them to any and all.

The Sound Effect did a tremendous job at our wedding. The had the dance floor filled and overflowing all night long. We couldn't believe that the evening went by so quickly.
