I have been blessed to have experienced playing with many poplar professional recording artists from Anita Baker to Albert King. I thank God for blessing me with 27 years of guitar playing experience 18 of those years at a professional level. Toured in overseas in Italy and Tokyo in the early 90s. I have finally join a team of musician that have the same desire as I do. DANA is a young Jazz Soul singer set to release her EP in the fall of 2013. #LOVEDANA Following her heart through the harsh realities of life and the tumultuous roller coaster of young love, you will hear a myriad of inspiration flutter through DANA's music. Growing up in a family of music-lovers, DANA very quickly picked up an unmatched passion for Jazz soul music. Taking a vocal music major throughout high school, she performed at various venues with her choir and got her first taste of live performance at age 14. She then started working on original songs and began recording them at her brother's home studio. After sending it through the networks of her friends, the feedback solidified her need to push further and create more music. DANA has performed at The Rivoli, Revival Nightclub, United Way Rouge and the United Way Awards Dinner; and at the Opera House while opening for The Trews at Virgin Mobile's Regeneration Benefit Concert. This opening spot also landed her an interview on Entertainment Tonight. After travelling and performing in europe for a year, DANA came back home and regrouped with a new management team and began work on her untitled Jazz Soul EP slated for release in late 2013. Willie Covington ("Willie C. from Tennessee") is from the great city of Memphis, the home of the Rhythm And the Blues. He has performed with some of Memphis's finest bands and musicians as well as performed as a member of both the Platters and the Drifters. As an Arista Records recording artist, his lead vocals were featured on the major label debut of Galaxy, one of Memphis`s premier Funk bands. He is considered one of Memphis's best Soul and Dance/Funk performers, but his fans also admire him for his unique vocal style as a balladeer. Willie C. is in a class by himself as a true entertainer. Everywhere he performs, he captures his audience with his smile, charm,and that marvelous voice. Prepare to be enchanted by the wonderful talents of Mr. Willie Covington
