The whole band was amazing. They are a great group of people, and we thoroughly enjoyed the music for the wedding reception. From the very beginning Excel was so helpful, offering suggestions and recommendations, and was easy to get a hold of any time I had a question. During the reception they played great dancing music and kept the dance floor packed the whole night!! Young and old were dancing the night away. We've had several guests mention to us, when talking about the wedding, how good the music was and how FUN it was! Overall, we couldn't have been happier with our DJ choice, and I would give more stars if I could!

The professionalism was exceptional, on time, and their sound was beautiful. The lead singers were amazing, engaged with the crowd, and kept us entertained from start to finish. Made my mom’s 70’s party a night to remember. Worth every $ spent and then some-Highly recommend.

This band is simply the best… an absolutely great party and dance band with extremely talented singers and musicians. Let’s get to the background - I hired Stir8up (“Straight Up”) to play music at a large Birthday party. I actually chose them blind. I knew nothing about the band until THE BASH. As far as the party was concerned, it was a 60’s- 70’s “hippie” costume party and the Band dressed accordingly. The moment they started playing, everyone was up on their feet - song after song. It also seemed every band member was having a great time playing. If you want yourselves and your guests to be entertained, this is a pretty good place to go.

The band was outstanding... the sound production utilized by the event did not do them justice but the actual performance was excellent. I definitely will book them again and give them a much better sound quality.

The band said congrats Jessica… my name is Sara. They messed up the ceremony music and played the wrong songs for ceremony and last dance. They are extremely talented but for the communication given to them it’s a shame how unorganized they were

We are so glad STR8up was our wedding band! They did a phenomenal job and sounded amazing. They got everyone on the dance floor and kept the party alive until the end. I asked if they could play friends in low places by Garth Brooks, they never had before. They surprised me with performing it and it was awesome! The communication before the wedding with with Excel was great. We ended the night with a private last dance, the band also surprised us with. Thank you STR8up for the best night!!

Str8Up did a phenomenal job. They were very accommodating to the specific needs of our event and are a very talented and professional group. The performance was fantastic! The STR8UP band played for our annual fundraiser this weekend. We had a great turnout and our attendees danced all night and we received a bunch of comments on how great the band was, and how talented they are. They were on time, professional, courteous, and fun to work with. I don't think we've ever seen so many people up dancing and having a great time. Nothing but an excellent review from us! This band was absolutely fantastic! All of our guests were very impressed by their talent and professionalism. They certainly kept the party going and were very easy to work with from a hosting perspective. (We had a room full of professional dancers and actors and they have a high standard for performers and EVERYONE thought this band was amazing and very skilled!)

If I could give Str8 Up 100 stars I would! They were the best part of the night! During set up there was a threat of rain and they did everything to accommodate in the space and made sure our music and dancing plans did not get ruined. They were so sweet and so professional at the same time keeping the party going until we had to almost be escorted off the dance floor by the venue! All of our guests cannot stop talking about how much fun they had dancing all night! Do not hesitate for one second booking Str8 Up for your event! You will not be disappointed!

Saint Benedict Blues Festival, St Augustine, FL Str8 Up is a very talented band. The vocals and musicians were top notch. While not an old time blues band the set was extremely popular inspiring our audience to get up and dance. They were a great final act for the night following high energy blues. I'm looking at booking them for next year's Friday night, 8--10 slot.
