We could not be happier with the music the Rhythm Kings played at our wedding reception! They are great musicians and wonderful performers--everyone was up dancing! They even let a good friend(/wedding guest) who is a professional musician sit in with them for a song, which was a really fun and meaningful moment for us. As far as setup and takedown, they are professional, easy to communicate with, and accommodating of your schedule and venue. We highly highly recommend the Rhythm Kings!

Incredible--took the temperature of the crowd, kept people on the dance floor throughout the reception, and provided personal touches and songs that made our wedding memorable and amazing. Communicated with us consistently, but not overwhelmingly, throughout the reception, to make sure the band met our expectations. We booked Rhythm Kings because of seeing them at a previous wedding, and highly recommend you have them do their thing at your wedding as well!

The Rhythm Kings played at our Milwaukee wedding reception in May and they were amazing! The band was super responsive to all of our requests, questions, and concerns throughout the planning process. The night of the wedding, the band was energetic and interactive - they kept the party going and kept our guests dancing all night long!! Over a month later, we're still getting compliments about them!!

I can't say enough good things about the talent, friendliness, and energy these guys brought to our wedding. They kept our guests engaged, and played a fantastic mix of older and newer songs that got everybody out on the dance floor one way or the other. These guys are all masters of their respective instruments, and as a musician myself, I was continuously impressed by the tightness of their show throughout the night. They also provided us with music to play for our reception guests at all times they weren't playing, and repeatedly checked in with us throughout the night to make sure everything went smoothly. Book The Rhythm Kings if you can. You won't regret it.

We hired Rhythm Kings to play for our wedding, and I can't say enough good things about them! They were amazing from start to finish. Paul was very quick to respond to every email I sent, and they were happy to meet our special requests. They had the dance floor packed all night long. One of the servers at our venue commented that they have never seen a band pack the floor like that. All we heard all night long and for the next few days was how fantastic and fun the band was. We certainly agree! I couldn't be happier with the choice we made. If I have another event to hire a band, they will be the only one I call. Hire them - you will not be disappointed!

Couldn't have asked for a better band for our wedding. The Rhythm Kings were amazing to work with, they addressed all my questions ahead of time and most of all played fantastic music. Our entire guest list was on the dance floor having a great time. We even lost power for a few short minutes and they kept the party going. Highly recommend them for any event.

AMAZING. We were already confident in our band choice after reading previous reviews, but they were even better than anticipated! The dance floor was packed all night, and the band members were incredibly kind, accommodating, attentive, professional, and fun. Our guests raved about them all night and the rest of the weekend. Marcell was proactive in reaching out to me to confirm details and they were great at communicating with our venue. We didn't feel like we had to worry about anything! My dad was having so much fun, he asked for an encore at the end - and they obliged! The music was also well-paced for the way a reception's vibe changes as the night goes on (more classics at the front, more modern covers at the end). Everyone had a great time - thanks, Rhythm Kings!

These guys brought the house down! I cannot recommend them highly enough. Not only was the music selection phenomenal, but the talent level is through the roof. They did a cover of Smooth by Santna that was out of this world good. A few month before my event, the band contacted me and told me that there keyboardist could not make the event and they needed to substitute with a backup. This made me a bit nervous but I shouldn't have been. The backup keyboardist was one of the most talented musicians I have ever had the pleasure of seeing live. He killed it. I may be a little biased here, but these guys made my wedding one of the most fun weddings I have ever been to.

Iowa City, Iowa has a new favorite band! The Rhythm Kings were outstanding and I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. After my wedding I received so many complements on the band! These guys are awesome. We wanted to have a live band at our wedding to give everyone an unforgettable night, and The Rhythm Kings delivered beyond expectation. They are very talented, have a great variety of music that they perform, and put on an incredible show. The Rhythm Kings rocked our wedding reception. I can't think of one song where there wasn't a big group of people dancing and having a blast. They're extremely talented musicians and possess a special finesse with regard to working a room and getting people excited to celebrate. They agreed to play several requests and even sight-read a song not on their playlist due to popular demand. The Rhythm Kings are great guys to work with and numerous guests at our wedding raved about the band, saying it was the most fun they've had at a wedding in a long time. When the guests are happy I think that says it all!

Rhythm Kings did a phenomenal job with our wedding. They had everyone up and dancing the entire time. They were also able to accommodate a few song requests before the wedding. They even agreed to sight read a song that our little cousins requested. Would recommend to anyone!

I can not say enough great things about The Rhythm Kings! All the guests at my wedding raved about how great they were! There were 3 other weddings going on at the same time as mine and one of the employees said that we had the best band and music that night. I was more than pleased with the entire experience! Our CD that a friend of ours burned for us for the reception (had bridal march music, first dance, father/daughter, mother/son on it) kept skipping and then didn't play at all. They played the father/daughter dance and mother/son dance songs live for us! Best choice we made for our music! Highly recommend this band! They were AWESOME!!!!! Thank you again!

The Rhythm Kings played our Nov 2013 wedding reception. I already had a lot of confidence in the band from their numerous other positive reviews and they lived up to all of the hype.
Everyone from our party-loving college buddies to our older aunts and uncles and grandmothers were on the dance floor all night. Marcel is so animated and engaging, often venturing out onto the dance floor to sing and interact with his audience. The band had a fantastic sense of what songs to play to get everyone excited about dancing and their song repertoire appeals to people of all ages.
Professional. Affordable. Hire them and trust them- they will not disappoint!

When searching for a band for my wife's 50th birthday party.I found the the Rhythm Kings. I went to here them play and was happy to confirm my thoughts. I introduced myself to Marcell. I told him I wanted a Band that could get a party up and dancing. He looked at me and said "we will tear it up". I thought that was a bold statement. Well they exceeded my expectations and more than lived up to his confidence. No less then 30 people came up to me and asked were I found the band. Everybody loved there performance. The party was a huge success and attribute allot of it to The Rythm Kings. If you are searching for a band stop.Hire them and go on to other details.

We had the Rhythm Kings do our wedding in Dubuque, Iowa. They were outstanding! We had about 200 people at our wedding and all of them raved about how great the band was. They had the entire party up and dancing. They were incredibly interactive with the crowd. They involved the bride and groom on multiple occasions. They also were outstanding to work with, MCing part of the wedding and letting us use the sound system during breaks.
I cannot recommend this band enough. Thanks guys!
