Liana was like talking to an old friend. She heard the details of what I needed and she delivered far above that! Everybody raved about her team. The sound and DJ guy is really cool. I initially interviewed 6 companies because I was apprehensive about making this small event seem over the top or cheesy. I"m happy we chose Kumu Kahne! We had challenges with the contract & payment - but I was not hiring an admin, I was hiring great dancers. Liana even recommended Supreme Catering when nobody else wanted to cater. (The presentation and food were amazing.) Everybody worked on 1/1, in the cold and rain and were positive, kind, and cheerful. The entire event was perfect!

I put a call on The Bash for a Hawaiian themed 100th birthday celebration for our mother on 12/18/21. Liana, the event coordinator of Kumu Kahne's Hula and Tahitian Dancers was the first to respond & was wonderful to work with during the entire party planning time. The dancers were absolutely amazing & the entertainment, including a DJ providing music before & after the dancing, was perfect! All of the guests, especially my mother was thrilled with the performance & loved the show! The costumes were stunning & the performances were authentic, graceful & exciting! Audience participation was such fun! We had a true Hawaiian & Island experience, I highly recommend them

WOW, what a great time we had at our event. Kuma and her group were exceptional. People are still coming up to me and commenting on the evening. Other than the girls and their wonderful dancing and colorful costume changes, they interacted with their audience. Cannot forget their sound guy, he was great. I would highly recommend this group for your next luau.

I was lucky that Kumu Kahne responded to my request because I had to find Hula performers very last minute when another group didn't confirm with me. Her pricing is very reasonable for the two hours she provided. One hour of show with 3 performers really made the party complete. I also liked it a lot when they had the guests come up and participate. I had 2 birthday celebrants, 9 yr old girl, and 15 yr old teen. Imagine the combination of kids I had at the party and Kumu was able to incorporate both age groups to their show. Everyone had a blast. It's a party my kids will always remember because of their fun show. I will definitely recommend Kumu to everyone.

Words cannot begin to describe how amazing Kumu Kahne's Dancers are.
For the price, I got so much more than I expected.
They were very friendly and the community LOVED them!
They had enough props for all of the participants, which I thought was very wonderful.
Their crowd participation portion was so much fun! They had a portion just for children that was very cute.
Lastly, they put on an amazing showed that our community loved and cannot wait for them to return. I will definitely be booking them for future events.

Kumu and her dancers were amazing. She actually brought her entire team of dancers (7 in all) and did a one hour show for over 100 people at my Luau. They all showed up early, played Hawaiian Music for 30 minutes prior to the show. Kumu also paid special attention to my Mother who was spent her bday in the hospital a week before my Luau. What was amazing is how they interacted with audience. They had the women and the men up on the stage doing silly things that kept the audience laughing and engaged.
If you are looking for Hawaiian Hula Dancers and/or Tahitian Fire Dancers I would highly recommend Kumu and her dancers for your next big event.

They were absolutely awesome! I booked them for a family reunion July 10, 2016 and they brought the group out of their shells. Not to mention they did an awesome job improvising when I failed to get them announcement information. Would totally hire them again!

These girls were great! Had them as a surprise for a birthday party. They really were more than we expected, got everyone one involved and made the party a great and memorable event. Everyone commented afterwards how wonderful they were and wondered how I had found them. Excellent!!!

This was a surprise for the bride and groom. The dancers arrived earlier than was expected, which was not a problem as we were running a little behind schedule. Wedding guests were a little slow in participating, but did join the dancers for some dancing. Everyone had a good time and were surprised by the dancers. The bride and groom commented on what a great surprise to help celebrate their wedding.
