I hired the Spotlight Band two days before my wedding in desperation after the band I had lined up flaked out. OH MY GOD I got a great band. They were able to play all the types of music I liked, together with all of my special dance requests, with 2 DAYS NOTICE!!!!! They were nice and quiet and sophisticated during dinner, and really exciting and great sounding when they turned it up and rocked out afterward. We all danced to every song they played- even people who don't dance. They were great about keeping the focus on my new bride and myself. and they only had 2 days notice!!! I can't recommend them enough!

I never left the dance floor and neither did our wedding party!! They rocked the house - my only complaint is I wish they played longer!!! Matt also is great about assisting with the flow of the wedding : calling for toasts gathering guests for cake cutting etc. he has great stage presence! Everyone left saying what a great band you two picked! We loved them!!

Comments like "I love this band," and "This is a GREAT band," came from many of our guests. Our neighbors expressed disapppointment they weren't in attendanace but they did sit on their patios and sing along with every song the band played. We wanted to dance to good music, and we got better than good. I would hire the Spotlight Dance & Variety Band again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a wonderful time. Dave Ward

This is year two with the Spotlight Band and they did it again! The staff really enjoys them especially since they play such a wide variety and have such great energy. We love these guys.

The Spotlight Dance and Variety Band is a great wedding band, we couldn't be happier with their performance at our wedding. They know how to play through dinner, MC toasts and then play an awesome dance party that satisfies all ages. Their sound was right on, they played the songs we wanted them to play. We would not hesitate to recommend them for any wedding.

We had lots of mix ups with our timeline with dinner later than we had planned and all sorts of changes but the band kept up with everything and made it seem like nothing was wrong, they just kept everything running smoothly. All that and they played the best music! They played our requests for Bob Dylan and Bob Marley and lots of other music during dinner and for the dancing plus they had a flute player and guitar player play for the ceremony. Who knew I would be able to find a band that would embrace my taste in music but I did. The Spotlight Band nailed everyting I wanted. My tastes are pretty off the wall so what a miracle to find these guys. They are the best!
