Punctual and had a great setup. We didn't really have any playlists for the party, and he chose music to keep everyone entertained. After dinner he accepted requests and got a lot of people on the dance floor. He made all of the announcements we needed and had good equipment for when we needed his microphone to make our own announcements and do our raffle prizes. We would definitely hire him again! DJ Jaw Knee Yeah did an amazing job DJing the Grand Opening of the Ice Skating Rink in Downtown Santa Monica. The music set the tone for the event and he was great on the microphone making announcements. He played a great mix for guests to sing along to, including everything from holiday classics, to oldies but goodies, to current hits that every one could sing along to as they enjoyed skating. He was also very communicative and he helped ensure our performers track was ready to go on cue. I highly recommend DJ Jaw Knee Yeah and look forward to working with him again soon.

DJ Johnny was amazing at our wedding! He had everyone dancing and truly made the day unforgettable. From start to finish, he was professional, responsive, and incredibly helpful—especially with creating our timeline and picking the perfect mix of songs to match our theme. He checked in with us throughout the day and stayed flexible when plans needed to shift. He even stayed calm and patient with me during my pre-wedding stress! We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ and will be recommending him to everyone we know!

DJ Johnny was incredible! He kept in constant contact before the event and made everything smooth and stress-free. At the party, he brought the energy all night long with the perfect mix of 80s, 90s, and pop/dance hits that kept everyone on the dance floor. The vibe never dropped and everyone had a blast. Highly recommend for any event where you want great music and a DJ who truly knows how to read the room. Five stars all the way!

Johnny was very professional and accommodating. I had cultivated a party playlist and shared it with him via Spotify. I expected only those songs to be played. While he did play many of them during dinner as background music, and played some of them during the time to dance, he also played songs I did not approve, including punk and emo songs. Also, he did not mix music and beats together to create smooth transitions and so the transitions were jarring. He was kind enough to play songs my guests requested and he did play a lot of great hip hop, pop, and 80's songs but his mixing skills were not up to par. He did have great equipment and lighting and responds fast.

This is the second year we have used Johnny for our Christmas party. Johnny is an excellent DJ. He showed up hours before the event to setup. He also provided some atmosphere lighting.
He really listened to our guest and put up with their constant request. Jonny, is simply the BEST!!

Johnny was extremely professional and flexible. He accommodated every request with grace and had everything we wanted to play. I gave him a list of milestones for the events and he was highly communicative during the event to ensure they happened at more appropriate times.
All in all, I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Johnny was an amazing professional who helped us navigate through our wedding. We had a small event in our backyard, and he was very helpful throughout the process. Johnny helped with creating our timeline, keeping us on track, and even checking in to make sure he did not miss any cues. We left him vague instructions to read the room and keep the party flowing as he felt appropriate. He managed to keep everyone dancing the whole night and everyone had a blast! We could not have asked for a better DJ to hire for our event, and we highly recommend him for anyone planning future events.

Johnny was fantastic! He showed up early, set up quickly, played the perfect mix to keep it fun, and was great about accommodating us when we asked him to stay an extra hour. We had our wedding on September 21st, and Johnny was simply AMAZING. The level of detail and the professionalism that he put into our meeting discussing the music, itinerary, and special accommodations for our event left us very impressed and relieved knowing that we were on good hands. At the event, Johnny was well organized and punctual, and most importantly, INCREDIBLE at mixing music. He 100% nailed the atmosphere and the energy we requested throughout the entire wedding, and all of our guests had an amazing time!
