Charlie was a top notch performer. Easy to work with and can handle last minute changes easily. He was able to announce, play guitar, dj, and take on the role of coordinator at times. I highly recommend Mr. Roberts. He also appreciates fine barbecue!

My wife and I got the pleasure of having Charlie as our DJ for our wedding dinner and reception and he did an outstanding job! He showed up early and had everything set up in a timely manner. When the time came to start the festivities he was able to play all the songs we requested besides maybe one oddball, and he kept the guests dancing with his own song selections as well. Overall the entirety of the reception was filled with fun and laughter which Charlie had a big part in that! Along with all that he was just very professional and we all could tell he knows what he’s doing. I would 100% recommend Charlie to anyone having a wedding in the area! Thank you Charlie!

I knew of Charlie Roberts before this event having booked him for my yacht club Commodore's Ball several years ago. So, for my 50th wedding anniversary I went for him, because I wanted the best DJ possible to play for us. Charlie is superb and has my highest recommendation for a first class DJ and entertainer.

When I got to venue to set up, charlie was there ready. As I changed things on the fly, charlie ran with it. Of all the things I was managing at the event, Charlie was not one. He did his job, kept the background music running.

Everything with Charlie was perfect! He got the vibe of our reception and really played music that fit what we wanted. He didn't have our first dance song in his catalog of music but had no problems getting it for us! He just really did such a great job and was super friendly to everyone. We were waaaay off schedule from the beginning but he just went with the flow and helped us with the timing of things. It was a perfect evening! Thanks for everything! Would highly recommend!!!!

Outstanding! I was honestly nervous booking someone I had never met or spoken with from a website, but Mr. Roberts was everything we envisioned for a DJ to be at our wedding. We had him play guitar and control our music during the ceremony and then DJ at the reception and it was flawless. I have already suggested him to a friend of mine who is getting married. So, if you're nervous about booking someone, I can assure you Mr. Roberts will not disappoint!

Not only did Charles respond quickly to my questions, but he listened to exactly what I wanted to ensure I had the best day. Everything was perfect and my guest could not stop telling me how great of a job our DJ did. He constantly was paying attention to the crowd on the dance floor and anytime the crowd on the floor seemed to be getting smaller, he found another song to bring more people out. I would recommend him to anyone looking to have a fun DJ who listens to what you want. He made our wedding special! THANKS CHARLES!

Very poor professional. Calls out the tables to have them come up and get served their food and he forgets where he left off. Puts on the Father and bride dance for only 30 seconds then announces money dance with groom because groom didn't want to dance with his mother or step mother. Who does that?? Who interrupts the father /bride dance. Was Rude to the father of the bride when he asked a question. Bride cried because of DJ cutting off the father /bride dance. My other daughter asked him to replay the song he was unprofessional towards her. I would never recommended this DJ again. Very upsetting and very disappointed.

Yes, this reception was a mess. Guests who couldn't stand each other requiring moving & additional tables with no numbers. The Shipyard Harbour Grill GM handled dismissal for food, not me. Bride's mom INSISTED on combining the money dance with F/D song. I have it in writing, along with my warnings of people cutting into dance, which is exactly what happened. Though my advice, based on years of experience, was repeatedly ignored, I was never rude. Posting here falsely blaming me for this train wreck when I warned in advance is an abuse of the feedback function & morally wrong. Having a daughter, my heart goes out to the bride. None of this should have happened.

Charlie was AMAZING, the ABSOLUTE BOMB! If you are having an event anywhere within his area of service and do not hire him, you will truly be missing out! We hired Charlie as the DJ for our wedding - by chance-and feel like we hit the lottery! He was so good to us. We had one guest request a really old country song that he did not have in his unbelievable catalog of music, so he found the background music and sang the song himself. I didn't realize it wasn't the original until someone pointed it out to me. He provided last minute services with a smile and aplomb and was beyond fairly priced. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. BOOK HIM NOW!!!

Charlie and his band were amazing! We loved having them play at our wedding reception. A great thing about them is that you get a band & DJ all in one gig...the music never stops! They had everyone on the dancefloor having a great time. We were so impressed by his professionalism & how easy was to work with him. When we sent emails we got a response w/in hours & when we spoke on the phone he made me at ease...what every bride needs! All of our guests have commented on how much fun they had at our reception & how much they loved dancing to all the great music. I would highly recommend Charlie and his band to any bride looking for a great time at her reception.
