I highly recommend Charlie for your next event. He was amazing! I hired him to DJ my wedding ceremony and reception, and enjoyed my experience with him from beginning to end. He was always kind, considerate, professional and prompt. His online portal is fantastic and he had every single song I requested (some pretty obscure).

I love Mr. Roberts planning tool on his website, that helped giving me ideas for my wedding date since I'm planning it on my own and didn't know where to start with. I found him when we was still planning for our wedding in Pensacola and when we decided to do it in Louisiana, I sent him an email and he was still willing to go all the way here for us with a very reasonable price. Very very nice guy. Our night was a tons of fun, he would change up the music if the crowd didn't seem to enjoy it. He handled every single special requests I made in a perfect way and I have no complaint. He played guitar and sang for us.He made our wedding night more special and enjoyable!

I am an event planner and this event I held in New Orleans for retired Seaplane Sailors could not have been suited better to someone with Charlie's personality and talents.

Charlie was exceptionally accommodating and affordable. He was a pleasure to work with, great attitude, and always had a smile on his face. He played exactly what we asked for and kept the music at exactly the right volume for our attendees. There were maybe one or two repeat songs but I think that was due to guests who arrived later and requested a song that had been played earlier. I highly recommend Charlie for any professional events as he is a pleasure to work with and has a great price!

Charlie went above and beyond in all aspects. He jumped on the phone and accommodated several requests we made. Not only did he play live music at our ceremony (which was amazing), he also did a great job making sure everyone had a great time at our reception. Charlie is a true professional and entertainer. He accomodated all our requests. To give you an example, before introducing the wedding party, he verified all name pronounciations and lineup order, I've seen this fail a lot in the past at other weddings.
He kept everyone dancing the entire night, and was great behind the microphone as the emcee. He was always listened to what we had in mind to make sure we had the party we wanted. He was very punctual
It was great working with Charlie and I would recommend him to anyone and if we had to throw a party again we will call him.

I have all great things to say about Charlie Roberts. He recently played the acoustic guitar for me daughter's wedding. She even asked him to sing a certain song just a few days before the wedding and he took time to learn it. ALL of the music for the wedding was beautiful. Our guests gave many compliments. He also DJ'd the reception. I was so glad that I made a decision to hire him for this. Our guests are not dancers, but they really enjoyed the music. He honored each and every request that we asked of him. He also did a fantastic job of making her reception go smoothly. I had doubts about getting a DJ, but now I know it would not have been the same without him!!

Working with Charlie was great. He was very patient with us because we had a lot of questions. The music from the first song of the prelude before the ceremony to the last dance song of the reception was great. He even took on the spot requests from some of our guests. I would definately work with him again.

timing was off for speeches and such (father of bride in bathroom when father of bride speech was announced). failed to mention other important requests and plan with coordinator on announcing key features of reception

The bride Katie Reeves Leming hired Julie Bennett as her wedding coordinator. I'm sorry Katie was unhappy with execution, but I was not in charge of the timeline. I was directed to follow Julie's lead. Katie declined to complete my timeline planning form or copy me on hers. With no planning form, I was reduced to being an order taker. Working blind, I did all I was told to do when told to do it.
In cases like this, when you hire a coordinator to take charge without involving the DJ in the planning, it's not the DJ's job to plan with the coordinator. It is her job to take charge, direct the DJ when to do things, make sure people are ready, & cover her checklist.

Charlie provided a very professional approach with a gentle friendly hand. I didn't have the exact songs selected for my cocktail hour or dinner music- I gave Charlie ideas of what I was looking for- he did a great job of matching the music with my intentions. During my reception, I had a guest request a song that Charlie did not have and instead of tell them no, he went online (right then and there) and downloaded the requested song to be played. His flexibility and confidence are well balanced. I am very pleased that I hired him for my wedding and reception; which I did online based on prior bride reviews and comments.

I am so pleased with the services we received from Charlie at our Halloween Wedding! He was super accommodating, esp. when our officiant was 45 min. late to the ceremony, he just kept playing & keeping everyone at ease. We quickly moved into cocktail hour where he was ready to kick it up a notch & play some grooving tunes for our guests. I loved how he played the keyboard, sang & acted as DJ swiftly throughout the night, NO interruptions at all! He lsitened to our requestes & was a great singer! I would definitely recommend Charlie Roberts to ANYONE planning a wedding, he'll make the party! My guests are still talking about how much fun they had! Thank you Charlie!!

Charlie entertained our guests by playing the grand piano and signing during the cocktail hour. Our wedding planner thought he was playing recorded music and had to go and see that it was Charlie singing. During the reception he flawlessly announced all the evening activities He played very appropriate music for all ages and kept the music playing all night long. Charlie is a multi-talented entertainer; I would highly recommend him for anyone's event. Our wedding planner was also very impressed with Charlie's talent and his "team player" cooperation during the event and she will definitely be referring new brides to him.
