Jay was an awesome choice for my daughter's Sweet 16 party. We were looking for someone to move the crowd and get possibly insecure teenagers dancing and having fun. He definitely achieved it. Without a lot of talking or use of the mic Jay kept it moving with a seamless playlist that was tailored to my daughter's taste along with fun musical surprises and party dances that they couldn't resist. We got what we wanted: a great party.

Let me preface my review by saying this-- I booked DJ Jamm for my dad's surprise 60th birthday party in 2010, and there is a reason I have kept in touch with him for the past 5 YEARS. If you scroll back and read the review I left for DJ Jamm in December 2010, I brazenly declared that I would be booking him for my wedding (All I had to do was find the groom! Haha). There is absolutely no one else I could have imagined deejaying and emceeing for us. Jay was with us every step of the way and our guests absolutely loved the music! He was able to accommodate any requests we made, even last-minute changes! PERFECT DJ, PERFECT WEDDING. Wish I could give him 10 stars!

We hired DJ Jamm for my daughters sweet 16 because of his professionalism! From the first call & email I was sold! The price for services was reasonable, and he was clear about what my expectations should be. My daughter has been to a number of Sweet 16 parties this year and the number one complaint is the DJ. That was the total opposite with DJ Jamm! All of our guests said the same thing, "This is the best DJ we've had in this area!"
DJ Jamm did an excellent job! The music selection. Was perfect, the kids and adults were dancing together at one point. You want your party to be right.... Hire DJ Jamm!

Jamal was everything we'd hoped for and more. He was professional, flexible, easy-going, and delivered the party he'd promised. Guests at our wedding couldn't stop saying that he was the best wedding DJ they'd ever seen. Jamal understood we didn't want the typical wedding music, but was able to even it out so even some of the older guests could have some fun too. He kept the crowd excited, the mood going, and he was simply amazing. I'd hire him again in a NY minute. So much of the success for our reception is because of Jamal. Thanks, Jamal!!!

Jamal was great. He met with us at our venue months in advance to get comfortable with the set up. He accommodated our special song requests, but added in his own flavor which really made the party. He is so nice and extremely professional. He's a great addition to any party or wedding. Thank you sooooooooooooo much. Everyone keeps telling us how much fun out wedding was :).

I searched for a DJ using a wide scale internet search where my criteria was a competitive price, 4 to 5 star rating with a high amount of reviews that spanned multiple years. DJ Jamm fit that criteria but I knew for sure I made the right call when he came to the venue more prepared than we were to survey the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception spaces. He knew what questions to ask, told us his plan for setting up his equipment and gave us a questionnaire to specify which songs we wanted to hear at key points in the wedding. The processional, ceremony, and cocktail hour all went flawlessly. But it was the reception that really earned him 5 of 5 stars from us.

Jamal was one of the most professional and competent djs I could have ever hoped for. He was able to consistently change the details of our show as needed, provided great lighting and always made sure all the women in our show were happy. Where to begin? When you want to give someone the absolute best reference possible, how do you find the right words? DJ Jamm was extremely professional during the planning process, he absolutely listened to me when I explained our "concepts" for the party and truly delivered as promised. In fact, during the party he went beyond my expectations. He certainly had an ability to read the crowd and respond accordingly, he kept our party going and our guests dancing. He was professional, courteous, prompt and so so nice. His easy going personality made it a pleasure to work with him and eased any anxiety I had as a hostess. I would recommend DJ Jamm to anyone.

There is no possible way I could endorse DJ Jamm enough. He was very engaged in the entire process, and was genuinely interested in making sure that the music and entertainment supplied supporting our overall vision of the wedding. We had some unusal requests for the wedding, and gave him very little input, but he figured out what we needed to a T, read the crowd perfectly and kept everyone happy. We gave him a list of only 10 songs, many of which were very different, and he managed to extract exactly what we were looking for and played an entire 5 hour event seemingly without repeating a song. He is incredibly well equipped, and just a joy to work with.

Dj Jamm was awesome. I felt so comfortable arranging things with him because he is so professional and personable. He arrived early to setup. He was also very friendly and very approachable. He's amazing because he helped me calm my nerves (it was my first time planning such a big event). His music selection was great, and I can't believe he got everyone up dancing at a Bridal Shower. Oh did I mention he has awesome dance moves. Everyone loved him after he played "The Wobble". Once again Dj Jamm was amazing, and I'll definitely be hiring him again.

DJ Jamm did a fabulous job! Kept the party jumping the whole time. Played all the songs requested by our daughter, took requests through the night & even added in his own flava and the night really took off. We even had guests who said goodbye for the night, and upon hearing the music as they were leaving, came back to dance for a few more sides. All in all the night was magical. Our guests even asked for DJ Jamm's card because they too are very interested in securing his talents for their own upcoming events. In closing we give our heartfelt thanks to the fabulous DJ Jamm. The event was a great success. It made our daughter the "It Girl" at school. Priceless :)

DJ Jamm was wonderful. It's not easing pleasing a bunch of teenagers. Many said the music was one of the highlights of the party. A good DJ can make or break an event. And he certainly did his part to make this a lasting memory for my daughter.
For me, he was a delight to work with. We did everything through email, texting and a couple of calls.
Finally, the kids did not want to stop once the party was over. They were still on the dance floor until the very end. A sure sign of success. KUDOS to DJ Jamm for making this an awesome experience for our family.

DJ Jamm really added the "Rockin" to my daughter's 10th Rockin Luau Birthday. He was simply amazing! DJ Jamm interacted w/ the crowd, he catered to not only the birthday girl but also the guest. DJ Jamm gave an absolutely stunning and fabulous performance. He conferred with my daughter prior to the party and he played everything she requested. The crowd loved him. He played what they wanted to hear. Even took requests. The light show was beautiful, the slideshow was right on time, and everyone is still calling me telling me what a great time they had. He played so well and the kids danced so much they were worn out. Yes, I would highly recommend him. Heck, I give him 2 thumbs up and big thank you for a party my daughter will never forget.

Dj Jamm was a true professional and talent! My husband and I felt so lucky and honored to have him DJ our wedding.
He listened carefully to our music requests and he played the music that we wanted to hear. He was kind, professional, and very easy to work with throughout the entire process.
