Patrick and Paul created an incredible night of fun for our 80s/90s dance party. Their talent in weaving together songs with an infectious house beat was top notch. DJ Thump (and Paul!) were AMAZING! Kind, accommodating, and professional—not just to me and my students, but to the staff at our event space. I felt we were all working as a team to create the best event possible. Our group of 9th-12th graders felt that effort and danced the night away. Highly recommend!

We had a fairly good experience for our summer camp. However, while finding the lyrics for some of the songs that my kids requested, the DJ failed to find the clean versions of the songs. This means that on more than one occasion, curse words were displayed on the screen for children aged 6-12.

Against my better judgement I put trust in the kids requesting songs to pick songs that were appropriate. Many song requests were not popular songs as one could expect but rare, and I was unfamiliar with some. I rejected some requests by these same boys (such as XXXTentacion). I started to get the feeling they were trying to see what they could get away with, and I apologize for not realizing this sooner.
Karaoke is not for every age group as well. The first group of children were too young (3-5) in that they couldn't read the lyrics and only knew the chorus, and were prone to mishandling a microphone. It was not a well-matched experience. I recommend age appropriate activities going forward.
This was definitely a learning experience, and if I ever do a children's karaoke event again, to reduce the risk of explicit lyric exposure, it won't involve songs that aren't commercially available, and songs that I'm unfamiliar with.

He was very professional and made the party so fun! Very nice setup and friendly towards the guests. We had a surprise party with karaoke for my husband, and DJ Thump just added the right touch. When we brought my husband in and yelled "surprise" he even played some fun intro music while my husband was looking around all shocked and hugging people, which I didn't even think to discuss. He just went with it and was very good at feeling the room. Thank you!

I hired DJ THUMP for our party and by the end of the night, people were singing MY praises for hiring him. He did great, handling last-second changes to the evening with aplomb. Music selections were great. Would definitely hire him again.

Hiring DJ Thump was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding reception. He was attentive, professional, and most importantly – played the perfect music. The dance floor was never empty! DJ Thump masterfully merged our different tastes in music and threw in party faves we hadn’t thought to request. He even taught us a few moves!
DJ Thump kept the reception on track and was a well-rehearsed MC. He was not overbearing, obnoxious, or cheesy. DJ Thump was just perfect!
His fee was less than his competition, but the services were worth much more. We would highly recommend DJ Thump and will be sure to call him again should the need arise.

When it was time to plan our wedding, it was really important for us to get to know our vendors in person. After meeting with DJ Thump over coffee, we knew we had found our guy! Patrick was chill, professional, & sincerely wanted to know how he could make our dreams happen. He even visited our venue on his own time to familiarize himself with the space. For set up, he came early to make sure things were ready before anyone arrived.
We were able to customize a playlist online & his great "announcing" voice kept the reception moving. At the end of the night, 1 of our guests' cars needed a jump & he was so nice to check if he could be of help. Absolutely recommend!!

I am the mother of the bride and I want to express how amazing Patrick Nolan is!!! He was reliable, professional and took charge when he was needed. The music he played was amazing and he took many requests.
He accommodated us and was willing to work with us during the entire evening and we asked a lot of him. He stayed much later than we originally planned for and was wonderful about it. He absolutely was the hit of the reception. We are getting many requests for his name and number from guests of the wedding and everyone is talking about how great he was. Whenever we need a DJ again in the future, no one will do but Patrick!

Patrick was awesome for our wedding!!!! He was very accommodating, I burnt my hand on a sparkler and he immediately stept in with a cold rag for it. I don't think you can get something like that from anyone else! We had a tall order for the music we wanted played but Patrick made it happen! He made a perfect MC and kept the wedding and reception live and flowing! His website was easy to use and we were in frequent contact with him all the way up to the wedding! I would recommend Patrick to anyone having a wedding or any other event for that matter!

Awesome DJ for wedding. After reading his reviews/ratings, I had a good feeling he was going to be great at our reception. After meeting him in person to go over specifics, I knew he was the perfect DJ for us. He gave us great recommendations for things we were stumped on. He even has a karaoke machine that he brought for us at the reception. Highly recommended and would use him again for other special occasions!

Definitely NOT your typical wedding DJ. He took care of special music we needed played for our performace, played all our requests AND great music ALL NIGHT. Everyone had a great time, and there was no cheesy music thrown in just like I asked for. AMAZING communication by email, and completely reliable. I would and will recommend to anyone who needs a DJ.

DJ Thump did his research carefully in order to work at our daughter's bat mitzvah. He asked what was her favorite radio station and then proceeded to find out what were the top songs on that station. The teenagers were happy that he played the songs they knew and loved and then he sprinkled in great dance songs for us parents. All were happy with the music and the selections for karaoke songs. His equipment worked great and he was courteous and good with the kids. He even got the kids doing some games and they were having a great time doing them. We would hire him again for a party and recommend him for any event you might be having.

Patrick was great and he understands weddings. He worked with my daughter to come up with a play list for her wedding and helped fill in all the blanks. He will work with you to create anything you want but if you find that you need help, he has a lot of experience with weddings and has a great idea of what works. He managed the atmosphere very well and when the crowd started to get light, he would play just the right song to bring everyone back. He showed up on time, set up without any surprises and kept the room jumping all night. You can't go wrong here.

Patrick was sooo awesome! I couldnt have hoped for a better ceremony and reception. He included all the music we asked for, was so helpful day of and was just over all professional and nice. The next time I have an event I will be calling DJ Thump to MC our event. I would also recommend him to anyone and everyone looking for a DJ whether for a wedding, party or any type of event. He's reasonably priced, the music and the lighting was perfect for our space, and hes a great guy to work with!! If you need some one professional and who will get the job done with a smile on his face, Patrick is the guy to call!! If I could give him more stars, I would!!

We had a challenging setup with the reception outside by the lake and two rooms in the lodge for the reception and DJ Thump made it all happen!
