Wedding ReceptionReviewed on March 1, 2012From Folsom, CA

He was very energetic, and made the people want to get up and dance. He kept a professional appearance. I would recommend him to anyone, especially anyone with a tight budget.

needs to communitcate better with client on overall set up and expectations. Not all his fault. Also would need to mix music up better in overall than just what is popular.

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on October 10, 2012From Smartsville, CA

The wedding was running late and I didnt get a chance to connect with him that day, but he had it all under control. He had the dance floor hopping all night and did requests. He brought all of his own equipment and the lights were great. He is friendly and easy to get a hold of.

Great at mixing music and getting people up on the dance floor. Not the strongest MC but is very capable of making announcements.

Anniversary PartyReviewed on December 2, 2013From Livermore, CA

People please read all of his reviews at the bottom of the page before booking him. He heckled our comedian in the middle of his comedy. The comedian asked him to stop two times and he continued to make sounds on the turntable while the comedian spoke. We had strongly suggest to him you better stop. He did not play any of the requested song. We told him no rough songs, No curse words which he did not follow, no songs with sexual content. He left early said sorry.

What's odd is the client did not send any song requests and simply told me on the phone that they wanted mostly instrumental music and r 'n b. The client also booked 3 hours of DJ services through Gigmasters, I played 6.5 hours, and he is accusing me of leaving early. How could I have left early when the client paid for 3.5 hours of overtime? This review is quite ridiculous. I did receive a lot of compliments from the guests and was surprised to see this review. I played songs downloaded from radio databases that only offer clean music, making it impossible for there to be any curse words.

WeddingReviewed on June 9, 2013From Yuba City, CA

He began the evening by bleeding all over a table and in the driveway from a wound his cat gave him and him calling out the officiant/best-man over microphone in front of everybody; he was completely unprofessional once he was on site. After he bled everywhere he called his MOM complaining about bleeding and talking loud enough for everyone to hear,OMG. He had a ice chest full of energy drinks and looked sick, or he was on something. My Husband wrote a review on him and he begged us to change it and he'd be civil about our harsh words. This guy is a creep. He will forever be known by us as "DJ Cat Scratch." Also, the picture he uses is not his current self, beware.

This client is harrassing me on Yelp, Facebook, Gigmasters, and through text messaging. She has changed her response 5 times now. First it was a one star bad review, then a five star good review, then back to a one star bad review. If you look at the reviews on this page, the rest of them are great and this one client has a bad review. I'm not sure what is motivating her behavior, except this is quite ridiculous and a complete falsehood. I feel horrible for her.
