We loved having DJ King James at our prom, compared to many of our past dances DJ he did significantly better. He catered to all of our requests and every guest could say they heard a song they wanted to. We will most definitely be requesting him to come back for our dances next year!

We hired DJ King James for a corporate event and he was amazing! He communicated promptly + thoroughly and the entire process was seamless. Because of the audience, we weren't expecting people to dance; the music was more for background. So, imagine my surprise when volunteers + leadership were both moving to the beat. DJ King James created a diverse playlist that was the perfect backdrop for the event - pop, old school rhythm and blues, Caribbean/reggae, country - and the transitions between songs were flawless. He definitely knows how to read the room and has an innate talent that is rare. You should definitely add him to your preferred vendor list.

DJ King James was great! Even before the wedding he was on top of everything. A few days before the wedding we decided we wanted karaoke at the end of the night (which was hilarious - I recommend that as well) and he was able to accommodate and had every song that was requested. During the wedding he played a great variety to please all of our guests.. from kiddos, to millennials, to grandparents - there was always a group on the dance floor. When the party went longer than expected, he accommodated that as well. He was also very funny which worked really well with our crowd. I highly recommend!

DJ King James was so much more than we could’ve hoped for! Using his services was the best move we could have made for our online virtual ‘prom’! We had a blacklight/neon theme, and he even went through the trouble to be on theme as well with lights and everything! His playlists and remixes were so on point and really kept our audience dancing the whole time! He spent the time during his performance also pointing out people, spotlighting their dance moves! It was truly a great event, and Marcus really made that happen! For reference: our participants range in ages 6+, kids, teens, adults, parents, and he was able to entertain the whole lot!
