Alan was early and ready to go to work for us. He was flexible with a time change as well.

Alan was easy to work with and did a good job. The only problem, which might have been due to the set up of the room, was that the guests could not hear the introduction or dinner music. I would also recommend that the DJ speak with the restaurant management about system issues or electrical problems. He approached me to advise that the power system in the room was faulty, which I understand was a concern but was certainly not something that I could remedy and all it did was worry me.

While I appreciate the client's feedback I have to say the issues expressed were beyond my control. The bar/dance area and dining room were two separate areas, so not much I could do about dinner music. As for the electric, we discovered that the wall outlets were wired to the same dimmers that controlled the overhead lights. When the lights when down for dancing, so did the sound quality. I only mentioned it to her because the sound quality was badly affected and guests were complaining. I knew it had to be venue-related as I have updated and well-maintained gear that has never posed a problem.

Alan is a very nice person and easy to work with and had absolutly no issues with him. BUT, I felt for someone in the business as long as he was that the party should have moved along smoother. Alan is quite person and hard hear what was going on. The DJ needs to be more up beat and take control of the party.

Guess that can go both ways. As the DJ I have no control over what time the bride and groom arrive at the reception or how long it takes to serve salads, dinner, cake, etc. I have a written planning guide for every event but sometimes the best I can do is to roll with the (in this case many) changes and respect the wishes of my client. I've always felt that the party in NOT about me - I'm just an agent to carry out the wishes and preferences of my client. For all that, I'm sorry it wasn't a great night and probably best we just leave it at that.

I was very happy with the DJ at our wedding. He did a fantastic job with the music, and played pretty much everything I asked for, and even played related music that my guests loved. He played appropriate music for each part of the evening and kept things rolling really well. I was very satisfied with the music at my wedding, and I know my guests loved it too!

We hired Alan to be the DJ for our wedding. He was incredible! Alan played our requests, denied requests from our "do not play" list, and went out of his way to make the night very special for a lot of people. Guests were having so much fun that they were all begging him to continue playing at the end of the night. Thank you, Alan!

Allen did a GREAT job at my wife's surprise birthday party. He kept the music and crowd going with a nice mix of music. The Karaoke was a hit too!! Would highly recommend him for any function!!

Alan was a wonderful DJ. Very personable and accommodating to us and any last minute changes or additions made. He made our daughters wedding a wonderful success. The music during dinner was understated and pleasant and when it came time to dance, the floor was full. He mixed the music requested by us beautifully so the flow kept people interested. I would recommend him for any kind of function. Thank you Alan for giving us a wonderful time.

We were so very pleased with Alan as our DJ for our daughters wedding! He was simply wonderful! The music was perfect. He even did a mix of songs for the Father/Daughter dance...not a dry eye in the place!! We would highly recommend First Class DJ for any occasion. M & M W.
