The D.J arrived promptly and was very professional. He was definitely dressed for the event and again very professional. He catered to the customers needs and requests. His musical sets were very well insync with keeping the crowd dancing. He will be highly recommended for future events.

I scheduled Flava DJ's last minute after a very ugly cancellation from the original DJ I booked. I am so happy they were the ones that did the party. From the first moment they were very calming and assured they would work with what I wanted for the reunion.
My family loved them! They were high-energy, went the extra mile, so professional, and they got to the venue on time and setup in NO TIME!!
I thought the DJ was my biggest worry for last night. I realize they were the magic that brought the party together. Thank you Flava DJ's!!

I hired Flava music Dj for my husbands poolside 30th. DJ Lexs was very nice. And his assistant Carmen was also very nice. I have to say though, every time I asked them to play a song at the event, he played probably 1 out of 4 requests. I sent a pretty detailed list before the event and he did a good job playing those songs. But in terms of on site requests, my husband and I were frustrated.

First of all, they didn't play our playlist. Almost one month before my wedding, I emailed kpops and
Japanese light music mp3 files, and an excel file of English songs list to them, but they played none. I called Michael many times and asked whether they got it, they said yes. It was so ridiculous that they just played other couple's wedding music on my wedding!!!!!!
Secondly, I asked to speed up parents dancing song, but the DJ speeded up my first dance music as well!!!!!! I was rushing out the whole dance and got supper nervous.
I don't know why so many upset and frustration happened on my wedding, I am worried about my first dance video and photo.

My contract was for music and emcee. When I spoke to Michael on phone he confirmed. I spoke to the DJ company owner Michael a number of times to go over details and songs. He came without an Emcee, and our wedding went without proper announcement. Half my night was spent dealing with his errors. He played a song that I had told him to dedicate to someone without dedication, he didn't do any announcements for salad, soup, dinner. He didn't do any announcement for cutting cake. Just played a song. He lacked the formal experience necessary to properly handle a wedding. I would strongly recommend using someone else.

Hi, this is Michael Crespo the owner of Flava DJ's. My take on this wedding is vastly different. The power went out in the tent area 7 times during the reception which was outdoors and was raining heavy. The waiters, photographers, musicians and our DJ was working in mud and puddles of water all night long. The bride changed the set up throughout the reception and I accommoted her throughout the evenings (see my videos on Facebook/flavaeventdjs). I emceed and dj'd thoughout the event and did in fact make the necessary announcements to move the party along and the guests had a blast despite it all (again see my videos/pics) This client's statements are without merit.

Michael Crespo and his team did an amazing job at my wedding! They really understood our musical taste and kept the party going, mixing up the music so everyone could dance and enjoy themselves. Michael was a pleasure to work with before the wedding. He provided excellent music suggestions and was very prompt and responsive. I happily recommend them and would use them again in the future!

I hired flavadjs for a Sweet 16 and he was Great. He was professional prompt patient and very good at what he does. He wasn't just a guy who played music and mixed songs he was much more than that he was an Entertainer. He got the crowed going got people up and dancing and new just what kind of song to play just at the right time. All the guest and Birthday girl enjoyed themselves. Music is one of the most important parts to a successful party and I would be confident in recommending flavadjs to anyone who wants the job done right. Thanks for everything Flavadjs.

We had to request songs because he just never found a good beat or path of music on his own. Its like he never connected with people or party. To be honest, the mixes on this site sound great, they should have just brought a playlist. I dont believe the profile on this site matched the DJ that came to my party.the DJ can make a break the whole atmosphere and I was disappointed.
It seems a lot of companies advertise on here and call and confirm but then just sub out the contract-They make their security and send whoever they can find to do the gig and keep balance of money.

Hi, I am sorry that you were not satisfied with our services that was provided. You emailed us a playlist that we played, which was loungy music and you said that it was boring. At that time I showed you the list you emailed us and showed you that it was your music that you specifically requested us to play. Then you said to our dj to play anything. You gave us a 4.5 rating for requests because your guests wanted from freestyle, drake, top 40, urban, rock etc and we played every single request to please everyone. Therefore our dj was not able to play as he saw the crowd. At that point of the event you was drinking heavily and things took a different turn. I apoligize
